Leave them alone. Cars have shields (Ferrari, Lotus, Porsche) and they are just that auto not football crests. The Toyota logo, Ford Blue Oval and the Chevrolet bowtie could move to football, but they are not. Leave it alone. Plus, there already is a corporate logo in a football crest in Bayer Leverkusen

Most company logos can make fine football crests if you make the logo into a shield/crest if it is not one prior.

My monitor is 1366x768, but I use my browser windowed. It's kind of a drag to have a full screen be just someone's sig, especially when it's unnecessarily huge.
