Seadragon76 Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 Yeah, the South division in the PAC-12 is a little hard to figure out considering there are at least three teams (which includes the ineligible USC) that have a chance to win that division.Some other thoughts from my mind...-TCU's win over Boise (on the blue turf no less) says one thing: TCU still owns the Mountain West for another year. Boise can own it all they want starting next season.-Boise's loss is Houston's gain... I get that. What I don't see happening is Houston getting in the BCS. Outside of SMU, Tulsa and a possible clash with Southern Miss at home for the C-USA Championship, who has Houston really beaten this season? Not exactly a murderer's row of opponents there. I feel terrible for Boise ST and in a twisted way wanted them to win to keep the non-BCS rolling. ahh wellsI'm not at all on any Houston bandwagon. smzimbabwe Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 Houston only needs to finish top 16 to get an automatic BCS berth, as long as they are ranked higher than the Big East champion (or any AQ conference champion)...Since Houston is currently 11th, and Cincinnati is 23rd (as of last weeks BCS standings), I don't see Houston not getting a BCS berth if they win out... Plus, since Boise probably won't get a BCS bowl invite now, the exit fee will be knocked down to $5 million. The choice is clear.=========Ouch. Stanford got exposed tonight. I've thought all year that they wouldn't be able to match up with Oregon's speed, and my assumptions turned out to be right. Need Arkansas to win out, so Bama would have at least a shot at an SEC Title birth, but looks likes another LSU/OU showdown in New Orleans unfortunately. I think they are one the best as well, leads the nation in takeaways, and just has a disgusting offense. I think what people want to see is how they do against OU, a team they play every year, but can never beat them. Obviously if it's going to be any year, best to do it this year. He promises that he can give presents to "deserving people", but he really only gives the best prizes to SEC (who is so full of himself) and BIG (who really isn't that big, he's just over compensating). And whenever a someone is supposed to win a game they shouldn't, he'll try to make them mess up. He toys with our hearts, and then rips them out. Screw college football.
