Didn't know that.Is there no chance the Caps bring him back?The recent acquisition of Troy Brouwer has all but assured that Brooks Laich is done as a Capital. Also, in other Caps related news, goalie Semyon Varlamov is unlikely to resign with the team and defenseman Tyler Sloan was placed on waivers. The Caps will get out bid and it seemed he and his agent were intent on going to market. If the Caps pick him back up I'll be happily shocked, but I dont expect it. I hated seeing Peter Bondra get traded and thought that Laich had better turn into a decent player and he did. I also think a new team will do him some good. He was a good player but not perfect.
