WJMorris3
How cool is this? Wikipedia does the uniforms and full lineups for the 2011 Copa América. See here. And with that score you've linked to, the Albiceleste are not exactly in a good position. This time, you can't make like Jamie Foxx and blame it on the al-al-al-al-al-altitude. WJMorris3
Argentina did manage to draw the game, but really, they should expect to beat Bolivia in Argentina!

AnythingChicago
The first round of the AFC qualification for the 2014 World Cup ended today. Although none of the teams in the first round are likely to advance to the actual cup in Brazil, I like Vietnam. They beat up on Macau 13-1 on aggregate, which may not take much, but still was impressive. Even more impressively, Lê Công Vinh scored 8 goals in just 2 matches. He could be a player to watch going down the stretch for qualification.
AnythingChicago
If you're not watching the Uruguay-Peru match, tune in now. It is tied 1-1 at the half. Peru's Guerrero scored a breakaway goal on a beautiful assist from the Peruvian midfielder. Then, in extra time, Suárez scored the equalizer on a slicing pass from the right side. It's gonna be a nail biter, folks. Time of possession is nearly equal. Tune in if you can (it's on that Spanish Univison channel that dfwabel kept ranting on about )

AnythingChicago
The Chile-Mexico match just shows how much deeper the CONMEBOL is than the CONCACAF. Although the game is tied at nothing, Chile, a mid-level CONMEBOL team, is dominating Mexico and constantly attacking. Yet in the Gold Cup, Mexico dominated every match like they were playing the British Virgin Islands...
Don
It is possible for Mexico to have a bad game, but dont overlook Chile they made the World Cup out of CONMEBOL. AnythingChicago
It is possible for Mexico to have a bad game, but dont overlook Chile they made the World Cup out of CONMEBOL.Yeah, but as the third or forth best team. Another sign of how deep the CONMEBOL is: Uruguay came in 5th in qualifying for the 2010 Cup, and had to go to a playoff against Costa Rica, yet they still came in forth in the World Cup finals. AnythingChicago
Of course, Mexico just scores on one of their few chances. Damn you, Araujo!EDIT: Just realized Mexico is playing without Chicharito and Márquez. So they only have one of their "big 3", yet they are still beating Chile. Rrrgh. There was a prostitution scandal involving a hotel in Quito, Ecuador. Only the Mexicans... And then you add Chicharito and Márquez opting out of the Copa América to that... WJMorris3
Consider that Mexico sent their U-23 team with five overage players. This isn't Mexico's best.
AnythingChicago
Consider that Mexico sent their U-23 team with five overage players. This isn't Mexico's best. And it shows. They didn't play that corner well at all. Chile scores the equalizer easily. Tied 1-1; anyone's game. The TOP has been pretty even lately, this should go down to the wire. AnythingChicago
And ANOTHER corner kick goal for Chile! Nice header hits the back of the net easily. Say goodbye, Mexico.EDIT: Open net chance missed for Chile. Oh, well. They've got it in the bag. Did I mention they're playing this game in 36 degree weather?
