thespleenenator
That looks like a woman's beauty pageant logo. And does Tennessee now have a gaping wound in the middle of the state? Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I cry tears.Chopping off the dicks of Filipino boys and embracing causes that promote bigotry =/= strong moral character.

CAB
It's pretty nice artwork, but it wouldn't really work as a sleeve patch. If anything, I'd think they'd use a dog logo or whatever a "volunteer" may be.
missouri tigers
I see what you're trying to do, but it's far to complex to be affective as a sleeve patch. In my honest opinion, you should just start over from scratch. Try simplifying it and use less design features.
ONUV
looks like a belt buckle
drdougfresh
It reminds me of an old sewing machine company or something. Maybe something you'd see at Cracker Barrel? But far from a shoulder patch.
DLabPG5429
could this logo be used as marketing ad for the School? or somewhat like a faux crest?
FGWB
I'd capitalize the E and S at the ends to make them feel closed because it's too open for my taste.how about filling in the state too?
TylerBray8
That is not for my Vols. Thats all I can say.

TylerBray8
Now I'll give some real CC.1. If it's gonna be a patch, then I would go with a circle shape. Like the patch Nebraska uses on their football jersey.2. Incorporate things that have to do with Tennessee. (Checkerboard, 3 stars off the state flag, outline of TN, other UT logos, etc.)
BrandMooreArt
you've got my approval. i think it'd be great as a patch, but whats the purpose? im already going to know its the Volunteers team, they have a logo. whats the reason for the patch's existence? Brave-Bird 08
when I saw this it took me a while to realize it didnt say Texas Longhorns. It's neat though. Could go nicely on a Tennessee whiskey bottle at least. I'd hate to see it as a football team patch though.
DLabPG5429
This is a very minor update for right now. I'm working on completely changing the design, but I liked the idea of incorporating the checkers.
GriffinM6
It looks great now that the state is filled in, and I'm glad your completely changng the look. I do hope you keep the checkerboard design.
Cola
I'm getting the whole belt buckle/whiskey bottle art feel from this...just don't see it being applied in a sports team identity. It's quite busy, too.
oddball
#1 It's too busy. #2 The belt buckle makes it feel like it belongs in Texas. Research Tennessee and use images that represent Tennessee.
