Reebok unveils 2012 NLL jerseys

The NLL's Minnesota Swarm, they of the bumblebee-striped sleeves, are taking their outlandish look up another notch in 2012 with a blue honeycomb pattern on the shoulders.

At least it matches their dasherboard overlays.

I think they should have it take over the the yellow and blue stripes completely.

Oh and, I'm getting tired of the Rock not playing Minnesota. I haven't been to Minneapolis in years now and I'd like a decent excuse to go back.

Yeah, that's my big problem with these jerseys - they should just pick one design or the other for the entire jersey.

According to the Swarm's Facebook feed, Reebok changed the cut of their NLL jerseys, which threw the original striping pattern out of whack, and that's what led them to try something new with the shoulders.

Really, the logo is now the weakest part. I know that is a lacross stick in there, but it kind of reads like "mystery bug." Not like a bee at all.

Outside of that, this somehow works for me.

Looks more like a dragon fly to me than a bee.
