texfischer
According to you, who is the better player? Crosby vs. Ovechkin isn't even a relevant conversation anymore, for numerous reasons. So who do you think? This isn't a poll about who you like more, it's about who is the better player.

aci
Ovechkin has just stopped caring, for whatever reason. Malkin is significantly better than Ovechkin now, and is probably the best forward in the league. IceCap
Ovechkin, even before he stopped caring, seemed overrated. Every time he played in a big game/series he choked. evanmaldonado
Ovechkin, even before he stopped caring, seemed overrated. Every time he played in a big game/series he choked. He played pretty well in the postseason vs Pitt a few years back. His entire team chokes yearly. But yeah Malkin. Ovi's too much of a rock star.... Funky Bunky
Geno.... Even when Ovechkin's playing well, Geno is almost just as good. Since OV is just okay now, Malkin, hands down
Kramerica Industries
It's nice to see Malkin back to being healthy and at the top of his game.'Cause when he is, I'd argue he can be just as good as Crosby.
NJTank
Ovechkin is all hype he can score, he can make highlights, but he cant win and when the chips are down he is the biggest choking dog since Lindros. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
GriffinM6
Malkin is definitely better, not trying to be biased. He has stepped up and been a porven leader since Crosby has been injured. If there was an award for "Best Leader to Step Up when your Star Player is Injured Award", then he's the winner.

sportstar1212
I know I'm super duper biased but I have to go with Geno. Ovie has lost his flame and can't lead his team to a cup despite being the highest paid player in the league. Geno has stepped up and carried the Pens on his back. youcan'tseeme
I don't even think it's fair to compare Ovechkin to Malkin to be honest. Ovechkin versus Kessel or Kovalchuck seems more reasonable.
Don
Yeah why is Malkin/Ovechkin even a debate? Ovie has fallen hard. Malkin has only gotten better. I wonder if the Caps regret taking Ovie over Malkin now...but thats a hard call to make. Mr. Aware Eagle
GENO!Evgeni Malkin is kind of the reason I got into hockey in the first place, so it's obviously hard for me not to choose him. Right now, he's ahead of Ovechkin. I'm not sure what's going on with Ovie and the Caps right now. To be honest, I miss the "old" Ovechkin. He was fun to watch. Yes, I root for teams all over the place. And I apparently favor birds.
