Man, how about those Raiders? B)

Hey they signed Mike Jenkins and Usama Young. Peyton, Alex and Philip should be shaking

@ Eye...here you go, complete with the irony that he's not only on the Saints here, he's picking off his new team.

Honestly, I kinda like it. We could land Revis AND have a backup who needs a fresh start badly and could put the pressure on Freeman to step his game up.

And hell, it's not like we don't have the cap space.

Mark Sanchez is a waste of money and if he is legitimately pressing Josh Freeman for the starting job, then Josh Freeman is a worse QB than we all feared.

I want no part of that guy. And neither should any Bucs fan. Just because they have cap space doesn't mean they should just fill it with dead weight.

How many of Mark Sanchez recievers are good enough to contribute on any other team in the NFL? In fact, how many are even good enough to even get consistent playing time on any other NFL team? Jeremy Kerley? Please. He's certainly not a great QB, but that organization set him up for failure. I think you could do a lot worse in a backup QB, frankly.

Mark Sanchez blows. He's got no confidence whatsoever, and I frankly question his desire to even compete. I think he'd happily take a permanent 3rd string role just to not have anyone put any pressure on him to succeed.

Even if we assume everything else is true (I wholly disagree, but that's not the point), Mark Sanchez makes way too much money to be a backup QB. It's a waste of cap space that can be used in much more efficient ways.

Jacksonville's GM says they've narrowed the #2 pick down to two guys. I'm assuming it's Dion Jordan and either Geno Smith or Sharrif Floyd

My guess was Dion Jordan or Ansah. Still maybe Geno but Caldwell also said that he thinks the QB draft class is deep. Perhaps a clue that he will go QB in the later rounds.

The Bengals are in talks with James Harrison. This might be the point where I finally stop rooting for the Bengals, and go full Texans fan. Harrison is probably my least favorite player in the NFL, I just think he's a total jackass.

I won't be able to reconcile cheering for that a s s hole. The only player who I'd like to see join the Bengals less would be roethlisberger.

He's not even right for their defensive scheme. Ugh.

That's my guess too. My hope is still that we can finagle a couple picks from the Dolphins to move down to 12. And I honestly feel the Jags will be staring at a top 3 pick again next season so I am in no rush to get a QB this draft at all.

FWIW the Eagles GM said today they aren't taking a project at #4 and expect the guy to step in immediately, so that would seem to eliminate Jordan, Ansah and Geno, and since they canceled Milliner's visit, he might be out too. That leaves an OT or Lotulelei...

I think our second rounder will be traded.

I am looking forward to drafting a QB. I like some of these QBs. We got to get someone in there. Henne and Gabs can't stand alone. I would like to see Gabs fight it out with an unproven rookie rather than Henne who will always be a nobody. If the youth fails, then we try again in '14. The battle will be 2013 draft pick vs the 2014 pick. (wouldn't mind Bridgewater.) With Gabbert holding a clipboard somewhere else.
