Flacco's this generation's Trent Dilfer. He's the definition of a "game manager", fits the Baltimore system perfectly. Every now and again, "Fluke-o" will show a flash of brilliance before falling square on his face the following week. Winning Super Bowl MVP doesn't mean you're the world's greatest (Deion Branch, Timmy Smith). All you need to know about his "elite" status is that he hasn't even been named to a Pro Bowl.

So yeah, Alex Smith could easily do what Flacco does for Baltimore, for much, MUCH less.

Alex Smith has a mediocre 17-17-1 career record in one-score games - Flacco's is above .500.

Alex Smith's best year ever (3144 yards, 61.3% completion, 17 touchdowns) isn't that far off from Flacco's rookie year, which was his worst year (2971 yards, 60% completion, 14 touchdowns).

Alex Smith has a whopping one playoff win to his name, Flacco has six road playoff wins alone, and that's not even counting his home wins.

So no, I would say Flacco is well above Alex Smith's level.

I don't have ta see this game, after this the G-Men have a great shot..................to go 0-16! Tom (cough and choke) Lin may be fired for all I care. David Wilson, (cough, choke)! The Giants new tight end could let fumble and let the rest of the O-Line get injured. Bennett was better, but history is finally being made for the Cowboys! They are only one quarter away!

If you're a Cowboys fan.............I'm not exactly a fan, I have no favorite team, but there are many Dallas bandwagoners that outnumber Giants fans in LA and all of SoCal. Dallas has waited five years to embarrass the G-Men and the Morons of The Meadowlands in their own turf, now it's happening! Sit the New York Giants out for the season!

Crickets in here about Saints-Falcons? I was pleasantly surprised by the Saints' D other than Jackson's long run & Vaccaro's boneheaded hit on Ryan. Nice redemption for Roman Harper who has taken a ton of criticism, some of it well justified.

Note to Falcons: you can have the Justice League at the skill positions & it doesn't mean squat with a poor O-line.

A competent defense would be huge for this team. I realize it was at home and the Saints just have ATL's number lately, but that game is making me believe they can overachieve.

A perfect day.

The Cowboys will blow this one. It's a Sunday Nighter against the Giants.

No they won't! They were up 20-10!

And now it's 30-24 and Eli has the ball with just under 6 minutes left. This game ain't over. In fact, I'll almost be surprised if Dallas holds onto this one.

Yup. The Giants have what seems like 35 turnovers (yes, Kramerica, I know it's actually just 5) and they're still in this game. The best part? I gotta think that Dallas is the only team that the Giants could play this poorly against and still manage to be in the game. Anywhere else, any other team, and it's probably "any other team" 41 - Giants 14.

I love it.
