I think EA should put coaches on the games if they start putting players from decades past. I wouldn't mind seeing Carroll or Spurrier on NCAA 07.

I'd like to see that if they made coaching a bigger aspect of the dynasty modes. Like, if you could actually run your training camps or whatever before the season starts or if when simulating in dynastys, your team plays better based on the skill of your coach. Something like that. Then a coach on the cover would be pretty good.

For the cover of Madden, I'm calling for Scott Norwood or that guy (his name slips me now) from the 70's that scored the wrong way for the Vikings.

I think it's a pretty cool idea and a good way to sell the Heisman thing, it's just the timing's really odd. When was the last time anyone's heard from Desmond Howard? The Super Bowl...the crappy next year with the Raiders...When he actually won the Heisman? If you're going to have one guy represent the Heisman winners, I agree, he was the first to do the pose in the endzone, he's memorable for it, great job. I would prefer the multiple covers of winners, but hey, that's just me.

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow

I have to agree with pcgd. The point they are trying to achieve is the whole 'win the Heisman' thing, and what else doesn't scream Heisman then Desmond Howard posing after taking it to the house against THE Ohio State University.

First off, it's Crouch (I should know, I live near Nebraska).

Secondly, nothing screams Heisman like a quarterback turned wannabe safety for a team in NFL Germany.

Norwood was the one that started the Bills trend of losing the Big One

Who the hell doesn't know who Scott Nowrood is??

Everybody, I misread it sorry

I love the move. If you're going to build up the 'race for the heisman' thing -- why not put a former heisman trophy winner on it? Especially when there's a great shot of him in the heisman pose?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Where do you think they got the Heisman taunt on the game from? :D
