  1. Definitely planning on a trip out there just to cross off the Coliseum before it's gone. AT&T too, I suppose lol. Bummer city
  2. Incredible what years of neglect for a stadium and on field roster can do. I am very unsure Vegas is a 3 team market. 81 games is a hell of a lot to sell tickets for, and there's only so many midwesterners willing to fly in to see 3 games Anyway, just modify this and call it a day
  3. Figured it was something like that, sort of like the Zephyr NHL hats with unique logos. Very funny looking through that doc. Couple things that stuck out was the Bengals B that predates the current primary logo. I think the Seattle S was making rounds on this board in the unused logo thread.
  4. The bucs had sideline caps and beanies with a TB made of this font that i've only ever seen in highlight packages of the Super Bowl 37 winning season. You can kind of make them out here in the coach's gear, but I never really got a great look to them. Oh and I would personally love high res PNGs of the original Slamball team logos and Roller Hockey International teams. Preserving history and all that.
  5. Agree with this take, although I will say the baggier pants don't look as sharp as the tighter uniform pants that softball usually has.
  6. dying on the hill that the Dodgers have the only bad City Connect uniform since the beginning of these. The more I see these the more I like them. Fun nod to the history of several teams in their market, and very different from their current brand. I think the only thing is i'd like these more if the Serpentes Diamondbacks uniforms didn't exist yet in the same project.
  7. Oh sick, I should actually release that template huh. That's a STRONG start, man. Good job!
  8. Colorado 10/52 Colorado's flag could be a solid baseball brand, but instead I went with "purple mountains majesty", just like the Rockies did. I tried to separate this from the real Colorado look as much as I could, but borrowed their colors. Originally I had a C with mountains inset, but instead went with a classic looking C logo made by hand. The script is a basic condensed font, with the A having no crossbar to represent a mountain/elevation. Texas 11/52 Texas obviously would be one of the best teams if this tournament took place in real life. I made a T logo with long horns as the horizontal bar at the top. The script is a matching western font. The colors were always going to be red and navy, but I'm really liking the Rangers light blue uniforms since their rebrand. I used a light blue, but made it slightly more muted so it would stick out just a little bit holistically. Hawaii 12/52 Pretty simple for the Islanders. Definitely inspired by the Rainbow Warriors brand, i put some tribal shape on the right side. The colors are inspired by the native Hawaiian flag - which obviously uses green, yellow, and red. I just didn't want to overdue it with this one and provide a bold uniform to wear since the colors were kind of muddling together while building it.
  9. Yeah but none of those teams have moved since the 70s, when branding meant less than it does now. The Winnipeg Thrashers would be less supported than the Winnipeg Jets. The people of a far away city deserve to have their own unique name that represents them as a city as opposed to a scar of a franchise that moved
  10. These rule, I think you're my favorite hockey uniform designer on this board. Great job!
  11. Hey dude! Haven't seen you around in a while, welcome back! This was a really good comment, and it made me go back and look at a lot of the stuff I made. On OOTP, logos with a dark colored background on the dark UI have little fringes, so I default using a light border to make that easier on the eye. When I designed them, that's what I was going for. But you are absolutely right and i'm going to keep this in mind going forward. Here is a New York revision with that taken into account. I did the same for Georgia, and two more you'll be seeing in the next few days. I went with the color of the flag for Indiana. Like I said earlier, states are bigger than their most popular teams. But Slapshot's comment was something I had thought about after posting. I think the motion would also work on the left side. Also i could probably pull off having it in the script. Without further adieu, here's an Indiana revision (hey and a front number, and less outlines ont he cap logo too!)
  12. There's a few with numbers, they just haven't come up yet! Were you thinking Minnesota? Might have to make some edits
  13. INDIANA 7/52 I felt like of all the plain yellow and blue leaning states, Indiana has a decent enough history that really leaned into this design. I started with an italicized I that used a checkered pattern to fade into blue. This would be like a checkered flag, which i'm sure you can figure why I went with. A pullover felt right here, and a checkered cuff felt right too. Come to think of it, I should have done racing stripes! MINNESOTA 8/52 Minnesota was a very early team in this series. The idea felt like it had been done before, but It felt right. I made an M with two trees in the negative space, and a north star at the top - similar to the new Twins cap logo. The duel purples and light blue feel northern and cold, despite similarities to the vikings - it was more for the northern lights and icy winters. NEW YORK 9/52 New York needed a strong NY logo, but unfortunately the Mets and Yankees corner the market on good monograms. I've used this logo for personal baseball projects before and put it in orange and navy. The script is simple and blocky, where the jersey has stripes down the sleeves and an off white color because I felt like a team from New York could pull it off.
  14. thank you both for your service! Works like a charm and added a lot of realism compared to the old one I had.
  15. Thanks everyone! I think after letting it sit, i'm gonna go with the original Tennessee hat. UTAH 4/52 Utah is an early favorite of mine. The script logo is based off an idea I had last year, that features the Delicate Arch as an A. The cap logo is heavily influenced by Hugo Lara's Utah Utes rebrand, that featured the inner state shape as a simple modification of the block U. NEVADA 5/52 As you'll see over this series, I love a bit of negative space play. Nevada is also a state that you can fit the state shape into the lettering. Here is a tweet from 2020 that spurred on the idea. Remember, reusing stuff is cool sometimes! The colors are a bluish green, and several shades of silver, since it is the Silver State. These uniforms are very men's league softball, but I felt like the off-color cap really paired well with the grey pullover. GEORGIA 6/52 Obviously, had to go with peach as a primary color for the Georgia team. I originally had the cursive G logo, but I kept pushing it and decided that not every script and cap logo needed to match. The uniforms are inspired by the White Sox city connect, and really look sharp.
  16. Wow thank you everybody for the overwhelming support! I have about 15 of these done and will post some more later today after we bump it for these revisions I think this is a great suggestion, and the test backed that up. C without a bear it is! I didn't realize this til yesterday but Cal has the perfect C-Bear logo and I wish I could just use that. For all the Tennessee cap comments: I feel like it's valid and the cap is definitely unique. I tried a few options, including a color swap and a pinwheel cap. I think the white front kind of loses the logo, which doesn't really work in another color variation.
  17. Out of the Park baseball is a powerful baseball management game, but I treat it more like an open world video game because I can't be normal and just have a vanilla save. During the World Baseball Classic, I set up a league where teams are based in countries, and can only hire players that are of the same nationality. The United States, Japan, Cuba all dominated - i'm sure you can imagine. A few months ago, I saw someone on the dedicated subreddit post about setting up the same thing for US States. I've never done this, but I knew the concept worked. I just didn't want to manually fix the rosters. I did some research and figured out how to express fix the process and behold - the States League was born. The team names and randomly assigned logos on OOTP are just awful. As a logo designer, I couldn't let this stay the case. As a crazy person, I went ahead and started making logos for teams to use in game. Each team will have a single set of jerseys and caps, since in game, they only preview the home uniforms and it's a little less work since it's a superficial mod. Thank you @MJD7 for the template! FLORIDA 1/52 As a Floridian, I wanted to start here. Usually, my go to is deep green and orange, like the Miami Hurricanes. But I caught some inspiration driving around and really loved the green and yellow on our highway signs. They seemed bright, tropical, and iconic. I found a script font with a unique F, and crossed it off. TENNESSEE 2/52 This was the first team I thought of a logo for. One thing I didn't want to do is the easy route and simply match the colors for the most popular team in the state. Tennessee gives me orange vibes, unfortunately. But I wanted to bring in a lot of light blue. The logo is a T, made from the state shape, using the font Moonshiner, which is a play on the history of the state. CALIFORNIA 3/52 California is by far the best team in this save. I don't need to sim to see that. I went classic for them, with inspiration from the flag. Red and brown is one of the most underrated color schemes, so I used red heavy, with two tone brown for the bear in the middle of a C. the uniforms are off white, and use a simple piping. Nothing too crazy. A few California people on twitter told me that royal blue and yellow would work better, but I politely disagreed since there are a billion blue and yellow teams in this. Also, going back to the team color thing, they'd look like Cal with the logo set i'd make. Would love to hear what you think! I have 13 done and this thread will make me finish it all.
  18. I really don't love it. The font feels very 80s to me. Kind of feels like an identity crisis. The surrounding branding is nice.
  19. Love Korea's set. i've done concepts that are white and black for South Korea before, but that electric blue really pops on the white AND dark uniforms.
  20. ^^^^ read the notes under the concept, man I think this is interesting, but would love to see your Koala in regular Dodgers colors. I guess what i'm picturing is similar to the CounterClocks logos. I feel like you can still be creative and add more of that deep grey to the concept, kind of like a New York Giants look.
  21. Cool sketches by Todd for the WBC, although I feel like the new logo is a nice step forward.
