  1. Yeah, because it not having it's own thread on these boards means an entire tournament is meaningless. Sadly, it may not mean as much to American baseball fans (maybe because our league is the top level in the entire world), but to just about every other country, including Puerto Rico, it does. Baseball is the national sport there and the players and fans take great pride in playing for the national team. So you can't really project your own personal feelings of the WBC onto people from the other countries.
  2. You can't just separate them regionally. The Arizona schools plus Utah and Colorado would most likely end up in the Big 12. But of the two "mid-Pacific", only Stanford has a chance to end up in the Big Ten. Otherwise it could be Big 12, Mountain West or even Independent. California, if the PAC-12 ceases to exist, would either end up in the Big 12 or Mountain West, most likely. Of the northern schools, Oregon and Washington would go Big Ten or Big 12, at the very least. There's no way both or either of those two schools would end up in the Mountain West. Oregon State and Washington State? Yeah. Mountain West. If they can't get into the Big 12. Point is, there's a lot more to it than just geographically grabbing a region of schools and moving them to so and so conference.
  3. That would technically be blamed on the WAC for increasing it's membership to 16 back in the 90s, which lead to most of the original WAC schools leaving to form the Mountain West.
  4. Vipers have worn both white AND black pants with their white jerseys. That's all I've noticed, at least.
  5. San Diego, yes. Oakland, there's nowhere to play... until the A's move to Vegas. Detroit, USFL has already claimed that over-35-never-married-female-ad-executive.
  6. After 1 game, St. Louis leads in total attendance for the season. Almost 2,500 more than second-place Houston over their 3 home games. NOTE: This does not include DC's game today, which would probably put them in front. But again, that's with 3 home games.
  7. So I'm guessing you didn't just watch the game in St. Louis?
  8. So St. Louis City SC is only the second expansion side to ever start 3-0 (the other being Seattle, so I technically stayed on topic ) They take on San Jose next week at home as they try to become the first to 4-0.
  9. I liked the original helmet, current jerseys and either edition's pants. I liked the previous jersey, as well, but the shoulder stripe on the current ones does mimic the arch. Plus I prefer the numbers over the previous condensed ones (that the entire league had, just with different fonts).
  10. Announced attendance of 38,310. I believe they said a new spring league record.
  11. With MLB, Monterrey gets mentioned far more than Mexico City.
  12. Doubtful. Orlando's shown success in the past with the AAF (and even XFL 2001). I suspect they'd give them at least another season before pulling the plug on the market. They wanted to have a team there in 2020, but were forced to use Tampa Bay since the AAF was there first.
  13. No. They already announced the home whites with teal, road grays, red and black alts + City Connect.
  14. He lives on the west coast and probably doesn't want to travel far to do games. Like the aptly-named poster here, he's very west coast biased.
  15. Yeah I watched the whole season when if first came out. Nowhere near as good as the original, but nostalgia will have me watch the next season. I watch That 70s Show just about everyday.
  16. Nevermind the faux-1970s Cincinnati Reds striped mess, who the hell's dumb a** sewed the youth sized jersey lettering on the real thing?
  17. And every post of your makes me want to repeat that you don't speak for anybody but yourself. Literally no one else. And quite honestly, I don't think anybody would want you to speak for them, to avoid any implication of association, alone. But you did hit the nail on the head when you referred to your posts as "regurgitation".
  18. What in the holy off-brand, Blue Jays knockoff, Batman?
  19. I don't know if he's part of any actually ownership group or just part of the organization trying to lure a team to Nashville. They're not just targeting expansion, but rather relocation, as well. So I don't think he'd be heartbroken, as long as Nashville ended up with a team.
