Cleveland Cavaliers Reveal New Uniforms for 2022-23
McCall replied to Indigo's topic in Sports Logo News
Yeah, they definitely rank higher than the Jazz. For one, they didn't radically alter their colors, and two, the design elements they used (i.e. wordmark, numbers) is better executed than Utah. -

Remember when NBA teams used to actually have identities? -

Yeah, unfinished. -
So they took the trim from the wine/athletic gold set (aka first post-LeBron era), but made them the color of the uniform so they're not really visible. The wordmarks and such put them up above the Jazz by default because it doesn't look like they used electrical tape to put the team name and number on blank jerseys for a team of misfits and outcasts in a Disney movie before they become the Cinderella team of the youth league and get brand new fancy uniforms for the big game at the end.

Minor/Independent/Collegiate League Baseball Logo/Uniform Changes
McCall replied to BigMac12's topic in Sports Logo News
Idano about that. -
If the A's end up in Las Vegas, then probably Nashville and Montreal. Not really a big push for Charlotte at the moment.

No. Simply put, there is no Mets-Dodgers rivalry.
-
Hey, does anybody know how the Yankees are doing?
-
Surprised we hadn't seen this yet considering this was the end of May. But read the comment about Nashville and Raleigh and then saw who wrote it.

The one time I'm cheering for the Reds when it doesn't help the Cardinals.
-
Why would they go to the Pac-12 if the Pac-12 schools may be coming to the Big XII and possibly dissolving?
-
To watch one of the 12 playoff teams that's not the Cubs?
-
Are you seriously asking?
-
I, personally, speaking as a Cardinals fan for myself, don't like pullover jerseys. I'd rather just see them transfered over to a button up.
-
I tend to agree. I used to want the Cardinals to add full piping to their home/roads, but then I got to preferring the plain jerseys because I thought the placket piping would clutter it up with the birds. The Saturday cream pretty much confirmed my suspicions. That being said, I'd leave the piping on the cream alt since it's supposed to evoke the classic jersey from the 1940s. The blue could probably stand to be changed to red/white/navy striping, ala the Blue Jays/Rangers, or triple piping around the collar, sleeves and pants, ala the Nationals/Giants/Pirates, to evoke the 70s/80s era jerseys.
-
Piping and striping don't add to the cost of a jersey. All authentic jerseys, regardless of the features, are the same price. Same goes for replicas, etc. The Cardinals regular home and roads are the same price as the Saturday alternates, even though the home/road are plain and the alts have piping.
-
I'm not talking about the Cardinals. I'm talking about the Red Sox.
-
Other than the bat being navy or black prior to, 1940 was the first year of the Cardinals wearing navy crowned hats and it's further inclusion into their identity.
-
Opposite for me. I have a hat stretcher and it only temporarily works. Always seems to shrink back down. Did it on a 39thirty hat that I left it in and forgot about for almost 2 months. All my hats start to shrink after wearing them for awhile, anyway, so I need to go bigger so they fit better longer.
-
Doesn't mean anything. These types of hats fit within some teams history and/or identity better than others. What looks right for one team doesn't necessarily look right for another.
-
One has nothing to do with the other.
-
What?
-
Those were BP jerseys not used in the actual game. These will be worn during the actual game, like last year. They are not intended to mimic the host team's identity.

According to TruColor, that was pantone 186, which is the shade of red most commonly used in the NHL (save for the darker reds like Minnesota, Arizona, etc.).
