pcgd
No love for the bears either. I realize they very well could finish last in the North, or third, or second, or hell, they could win the thing! They had a terrible coaching staff last year who was afraid to throw the ball down field, give it to A-train, or get a sack for the love of god! And they still went 7-9!! Now they have a staff that's the opposite, got rid of the parasite that is Kordell Stewart, had a pretty good draft which made their defense better and the recievers faster. I know its a new staff and it takes some adjusting, but come on, the North is a toss up. Detroit is improved, but they went 5-11 last year finishing 2 games behind the bears, and they signed the Bears terrible coach to be Def. Cordinator. Green Bay, I know you can't count out farve but I just don't have a good feeling about a team that was all about Tim Couch and drafts a PUNTER, A PUNTER, in the third round! Minnesota, I've got to think they'll win the North, not cause they are good, but because the other teams are on the way up, or the way down. So, no predictions here. But give da bears some love...peace,pc

Joshawaggie
no one is giving the saints any love...thats odd, i really think theyve got something going on, they messed up last year (carney's kick) and should have finished better...theyve got deuce, brooks, horn, stallworth, and an improved D, they should finish far better than the bucs, and maybe the panthers, but i guess we'll see what happens whoa, i said the same thing to someone a few weeks ago, we must think alike, or maybe we are related oh wait, yeah we are, and that person I told, it was... it was.... YOU. Watch those Saints people, they will be the suprise team this year, untill of course they lose to the Vikings in the NFC championship game, with the Vikings beating the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Yes thats right, I predict the 2 most under-achieving playoff teams of the last 15 years or so to square off... and the Vikes will seek revenge for Super Bowl IV. @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats
JamesCraven
"Skater, I really don't see Buffalo eding out the Pats for AFC East." Agreed. The Bills have about as much of a chance as say, Max Kellerman making a run at the Mister Universe title. So, why not give it a try...Max? Sterling84
I dare not predict much. I am terrible at it. I will say this though. Last year only two division champs repeated. GB&PHI. The year before that two teams did it and the year before that three did. This seems to be the going theme. So if you've picked more than 3 teams to repeat as division champs, I'd think again. One of those "favored" teams will crash n burn. Philly?NE?INDY?My money is on Philly. The only guarantee/prediction I will make is that San Francisco will be awful....and how could they not be. Murrman84
......Heh.....Is he right about the Atlanta Falcons defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.....Gee, let me think....Ummm.....NNNOOOOOO!!!!!!Okay, I'm hardly an expert on football teams, and therefore I am merely responding to this post as a die-hard Chiefs fan!!!! (and if you have ever been to Arrowhead recently, you might have an idea of just how loyal and bullheaded we KC fans are to our Boys In Red). May stats and odds be damned, this is an article built on pure loyalty and gung-ho optimism!Last year, my beloved Chiefs were basically an invincible Juggernaut, a team so overwhelmingly dominant that no team had any sliver of hope against us.....in terms of offense....and special teams....and our relatively injury free season. The only significant chink of any kind (okay, our punter is not spectacular, but it wasn't like we needed to punt all that much anyway) was our defense, which the no-talent worthless hack Greg Robinson forged with his own incompetent hands!! You truly do not know utter FRUSTRATION unless you watched the Colts-Chiefs game last year (I literally almost threw up in horror, and I retired to a state of numb anger and shock for nearly a week after), where only one...JUST ONE SIGNIFICANT STOP of that prancy dancy Manning would have turned the tides immediately.....Thank God Robinson retired, because I wasn't looking forward to assassinating the chode outof sheer impatience (Im kidding relax). In my humble opinion, and it could be totally wrong, but I see KC (if it remains as relatively healthy as 03) as being even more of a Big Red Machine! All the critics point to the fact that the defensive line in terms of players remains intact. True, but I honestly believe that the defenders can only be as good as the defensive plan of attack put together by the defensive coordinator. I believe that players who appeared downright useless when enabling the bizarre and inane tactics of Robinson, will actually perform more as a cohesive and productive unit under a plan by Cunningham (whose strategies made KC a defensive stronghold when he was last def co). Mind you, I'm not saying they rival the great defenses of our lifetimes, but they should be solid enough to get the job done when needed, or make crucial stops from time to time.If my predictions are correct (DEAR GOD LET THEM BE!!!), then the Chiefs will be the unstoppable powerhouse of this season, and hopefully that will translate into a long-awaited Super Bowl win!!!!.....The land of the free!!!.....And the home......of the......CHHHHIIIIIEEEFFFFSSSS!!!!!!!
