The jerseys have been unveiled. I don't love them, but don't hate them. At least the sleeves match the hem.

Here's a better look, though I do wish they'd put numbers on them, at least.

The crests need to be swapped, but other than that, I like them a lot. It's refreshing to see a rebranded AHL team take on a more traditional look. I didn't think copper would go so well with brick red.

You know, I wasnt feeling 'em, but swapped, I think they'd look much better.

I thought it looked great on the IHL and Toronto AHL jerseys, but this version could certainly do without the wordmark as part of the crest. And, as has been said, those crests definitely need to be swapped. The striping reminds me of the Calgary Hitmen's Teddy Bear Toss jersey, and that's not a bad thing at all.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Here's the team's inaugural season logo. A friend who works for the team said there's a good chance they'll wear these, on their jerseys, but it's not a done deal.

The contrasting nameplates seem a bit out of place. I get it when doing a throwback or going for that feel, but it just seems a little odd to me.

Fair point, I don't really have any opinion, one way or the other, on that. I'm a season ticket holder, so I'm mostly happy that it isn't a train wreck.

Why cant they put the AHL logo on that collar, I hate that dead space.

I wondered that, but based on what I've seen, they always put the logo on the rear hem.

yes I think it will be a patch on the jerseys, but they also have been using this logo all over the merchandise you can get on the online store. there is actually a really extensive online store for this team already, i was fairly surprised myself at the t-shirt selection especially. may or may not have purchased a couple ;)

The unis are very clean. The copper is a nice touch that separates the overall feel from the Coyotes.

Yeah, that's where I pulled the pic from. I was shocked, I don't think I've ever seen such an extensive online store for a minor league team. They're doing a promo where you get a free tee with a $40 purchase. The code is 1000 and it ends the 31st.

This design is far superior to the Coyotes'. Love the copper. With that, here are some tweaks that I'd like to see:

Copper collar on red jersey and copper numerals trimmed with black on the white; waist piping brought down to follow the contour of jersey, similar to Winnipeg's;

and red pants with copper-black-copper stripes worn with white jersey, and black pants with copper-red-copper stripes worn with red jersey.

Giving "Rocky" a neck would help fix the logo a bit. Oh, and lose the wordmark!

I'd imagine that the pants are just going to be black like the Coyotes. And it's pretty expensive for a team to have multiple breezers, especially an AHL team...

And what do you mean by Waist piping? Winnipeg doesn't have any piping on their jerseys...
