buzzcut
No one bothered to put up a college basketball season thread yet, so here ya go. And frankly, after the offseason we had, we need the diversion to hoops. The CCSLC's resident Geelong Cats fan. Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. Sounds like something from a Rocky & Bullwinkle story arc.
Seadragon76
Sounds like the off-season from hell for college hoops has gone international Oh, and a Ball is involved. Shocking... man, that family is nothing the sports version of the Kardashians.
dfwabel
What diversion? Michael Porter, Sr. basically pulling "a Wayne McClain" or a "Perry Watson". Bruce Pearl seems to want to be fired from Auburn. Georgia Tech had to file tha stt two players took improper benefits last week from a guy whom HC Josh Pastner considered, "family". And the guy, Ron Bell, does have a criminal record and flipped because Pastner failed to wish the dude a happy birthday! If the UCLA three stayed out of the Louis Vuitton store, Georgia Tech would be the big news. And the following schools, that we know of, have players sitting out: Alabama, Auburn, Arizona*, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, USC. *-Arizona has been silent on the eligibility of Collin Sexton, Rawle Alkins or Brandon Rudolph. dfwabel
Even less to see how that preseason All-American and top prospect, Michael Porter, Jr. will have back surgery. Mizzou got two minutes out of him and are stuck with the daddy as an assistant. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/sec/2017/11/21/missouri-freshman-michael-porter-jr-miss-season-back-surgery/886005001/
Tracy Jordan
So far the defending champs look pretty good right out of the gate. The Tar Heels have a lot of depth and this could be a big year for Luke Maye, who was arguably the savior of last season when he hit the game-winner against Kentucky in the Elite 8. See Red
Florida looks really good so far. Over 100 in three of their four games after last night's win over Stanford. Granted, they haven't really played anyone yet but they sure can score.

While ASU is undefeated and has one of their best teams since James Harden. That win over Xavier will definitely put them in the top 25. And I like what I see in Tra Holder. He might be another Sun Devil in the NBA.

Gary
ASU just beat Kansas by 10. They beat impressive teams like Xavier and Kansas. They’re 9-0 and could be 12-0 when they face Arizona. Could be weird to see ASU in the top 10.

FiddySicks
Holy crap, Sun Devils. Getting a win at Allen Fieldhouse is NEVER easy, but to do it like that? My goodness. Is this team actually, like, good this year? Fork Em, Devs. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) dfwabel
Its been a pretty crazy week as Duke, Kansas and Florida were preseason top 10 and lost to teams ranked below 75 in the active KenPom ranking. Three in the week and four in the season. It only occurred three times last year.
