Rite of Spring 2018-“What happens in the playoffs stays in the playoffs”

Recommended Posts

Wouldn't be surprised if tonight's game were a mirror image of Friday's: the Jets throw everything they've got at Rinne and get a bunch of calls but still lose. They're evenly matched teams, if you can do it to them, they can do it to you. But I hope not.

I see what people mean about Nashville. What a self-indulgent circle jerk this is. And the puck hasn't even dropped yet.

I missed it, what did those dumb twats do now? But Tubby scored in the first 30 seconds so whatever it was worked, I guess.

Glowsticks, jumbotron beer shower, I think someone was gutting a fish?

I'm not super into hockey outside of Bruins land so this could all be par for the course for Nashville. But it came off pretty tryhard-y.

This sounds like the third act of the Simpsons episode where they go to Japan

Caps actually don't blow a two goal lead, tie up series 1-1.

This means absolutely nothing.

Firdt time in series history that PIT won game 1 AND WAS won game 2.

it had always been one tea going up 2-0 or WAS wins game 1, PIT wins game 2

MAYBE THAT’S WHAT THEY NEED TO BREAK THE HEX

Just as the elders foretold.

If the Jets are the championship-worthy team I think they are, they'll come back and win this one. If not, hey, just gotta win all the home games.

It’s hard to win all the road games. Not everyone can be the 2012 LA Kings

Winnipeg didn’t need to win every game in Minnesota. They just needed one.

They're not winning this, this sucks. What a tease. Perds are going to keep turtling their way to the end here.

Scheifele ties the game, Norris Finalist P.K. Subban immediately lobbies the refs for an interference call.

I need to pay more attention to this thread so I can cancel out these reverse jinxes.

Not blown away by the Jets in overtime here. What few shots they're putting on Rinne, they're not able to recover rebounds from. Poor job maintaining possession. I guess Nashville conserved their energy by waiting behind their own net for like four minutes at the end of the third.

The Preds are currently blowing it. So bad. Definitely preparing for a letdown here.
