AMEN. Give love to the wood stick. I don't know how people can play with this ultra-light crap that's out there now.

after using a one-piece graphite stick I can't use a wooden stick or even a shaft with a wood blade. I got 4 one-piece sticks and they don't compare to one wood stick. This is my 15th year playing hockey and ive used a one-piece for 2 years..and im never going back to a all wood stick

Using the always reliable MAXIM HOCKEY NAME GENERATOR

http://www.maximonline.com/sports/hockey_name/

and choosing Russian Nationality, I am:

Vladimir Barakov

And for my number I choose either #27 (a good and proper hockey number) or #71, (a modern new-fangled number in the age of Gretzky more fitting for a NFL player).

I'd also take #33 this week if it were available as a tribute to Sergei Zholtok.

and I am a Right Winger

if you're still taking applications:

Name: DEMERS

( I know ... sounds more like a coach, but I'm not ready yet to step behind the bench...)

5' 11"-3/4 (no not 6')

185 lbs

#: 77

Pos: D

(used to be more of a Paul Coffey end-to-end rush typa player, but without the shot, evolved into a better D-man "Ray-style", more defensively sound)

Stick: SherWood lumber (just like the Great #77 himself)

Helmet: Jofa 390

(as Worn by Lemieux & Jagr circa 1994)

Gloves : Nike

Chris,

Are you putting this "in the game"?

Do you need facial attributes? ( you could ask what hockey player you look like , Jovo, here.)

If so, I'd love to see screen shots.

If you're designing unis, I'd lovve to see a light blue one (maybe as an alt, liek the inside of the maple leaf in the CCSLB logo.

Maybe we could even try to secure some ice-tim in the GTA for a CCSLB pick-up game.

I heasr the Corel Centre is renting cheap ice-time, no chance to see the greedy MLSE do that at the ACC.

Name: Scott Fab..........

Position: Goalie

Height: 5'-11"

Weight: 190

Number: 34 (fave goalie is Vanbiesbrouck)

All my current equipment is Brian's. I use a Cooper helmet (white), cage, and plastic throat protector like Chris Osgood (it was cheaper then a mask). And I use Koho sticks.

Detroit Dragons - 2010 ULL Gait Cup Champions

Detroit Cougars - 2010 and 2011 WAFA Wills Cup Champions
