4_tattoos
So the touring model continues? What was the purpose of "placing teams in home markets" if each team only gets one home game? Technically the Cannons may have a second home game if you want to count the game in Connecticut. C'mon Rabil! If the league wasn't truly ready to shift to home cities why put up the charade? 1 Quote Hotter Than July > Thriller
GDAWG
With the NLL: From what I have read, Panther City is last in the league in overall attendance. Their arena seats 14,000 and they can only get 4,000 in there. That's not good. The Dallas Wings of the WNBA get more than that in a smaller venue. NLL fans on Reddit and message boards think this might be the last year of Panther City

Moving to Dallas instead of Ft Worth? Or would a full blown out of market relocation be the most likely scenario? I think this was their plan, at least for this season before setting out for a full time home sites in the coming seasons. A lot of people also assumed New York was gonna be at Shuart Stadium in Hempstead and California at PayPal Park in San Jose, but it looks like they settled on Albany and San Diego instead. They also had Philly in Chester instead of Villanova, and Boston at Foxborough instead of at Harvard. The rumor seems to be Montreal due to the neutral site game being played there. I don't understand why people always believe if a team is called New York, it's always downstate in the City. If the team were named Long Island, then Hofstra would be the home stadium. The name change wasnt just because they played games outside of Long Island. They wanted to expand their regional footprint to include NYC, Westchester, Southern Connecticut and New Jersey. They only played 2 games at Icahn. the rest were on Long Island Quote Signature intentionally left blank

RyanMcD29
Maryland-Syracuse had extremely lofty expectations heading into it given the Orange have been off the grid the past two seasons, but boy did that ever live up to the hype. Leave it to Bill Tierney to still tick it to Cuse in retirement with the goal mouth rule, though 1 Quote Twitter: @RyanMcD29
