FiddySicks
Honestly I think the Ravens O line is just really bad. Like, the AFC North may be kinda wide open levels of bad. 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Klondyke
I don't even like the Ravens, but how does every other team with a mobile QB get 9-10 more o-line holding calls than KC every year? I don't think anything's rigged, but the NFL has such a habit of giving veterans the benefit of the doubt.

That's closer to reality than all the talk about the AFC North being the best division in the NFL. The Ravens are the best team in the division, but the other three teams are not as good as the "experts" think they are. If Burrow stays healthy, and that's a big if, the Bengals could be a playoff team, but they're not a serious threat to do anything. As usual, the Steelers are a good QB short of being solid. Mike Tomlin will probably lead them to another 9-8 season. The Browns gave up on Baker Mayfield to trade their future for a less likeable, sexual predator version of Baker Mayfield. They'll be lucky to win 7 games this season. That's a long way of saying I agree with you. 1 Quote All roads lead to Dollar General.

FiddySicks
This has probably been said to death but Lamar/Mahomes matchups feel so much like Manning/Brady matchups. They’re both just so damn good, but as of now one clearly has the more “clutch” gene. It’s frustrating because I’m in the Lamar camp over the Mahomes camp (once again, I chose wrong ), but this has been such a fun replacement to that rivalry. And that doesn’t even touch the other great QBs in the league right now like Burrow and Allen. With a bunch of promising young guys, too. Good times, man. 3 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)

FiddySicks
Could that possibly just be the crown of the field? Aren’t they higher at the center just a bit for drainage? 3 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Yes they are, and the distortion in that picture makes it look worse. I see Lamar as less Peyton Manning and more Philip Rivers, putting together a very impressive career while consistently winding up on the ass end of games against even greater quarterbacks. 5 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Every season they pick something to over enforce. 2 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." Lights Out
13 hours ago, The_Admiral said: To come back to that Commanders story for a second, ESPN unsurprisingly buried the lede here. It was not that he spoke ill of Roger Goodell or called Jerry Jones a racist. I think to some extent, you can do that. I think you're allowed to call your customers mouth-breathers, even though, or rather because, the NFL, the only show America watches on live TV, is such a cultural monolith that to act as if interest is limited to alcoholic dropouts is too farcical to take seriously. What you cannot do is draw attention to the fact that many blacks in America do hold retrograde attitudes toward homosexuality that their white liberal compatriots would find abhorrent. And what you really really really cannot do is admit to the bald cynicism behind the league's halfhearted "social justice initiatives" that amount to painting "y'all, racism, as it turns out, is bad" on the field so that they can keep up appearances with the professional liberal consensus that determines who spends what where. And you REALLY can't do that when you work for the team that had to change its name because of George Floyd. Also, it'd be pretty awkward to keep working for a team after you've trashed all its players with no evidence. And someone who agreed to work for Dan Snyder probably shouldn't be scrutinizing other teams' owners too harshly, either. oldschoolvikings
Every time I’m watching some show where the NFL talking heads are discussing Lamar Jackson, and how he’s a top two or three quarterback, I feel like I must be blind or crazy. I’ve just never seen it. If the Ravens are down late and he has to throw them to a win, you can just go to bed. I’m sure there must have been times in his career when he’s pulled out some big comeback but I honestly can’t remember it. He blew two easy touchdowns back to back before the toe on the line play. Why does Dak Prescott get (justifiably) hammered for being good in the regular season and garbage in the playoffs but everyone at ESPN seems afraid to admit that Lamar is the exact same guy? I feel like I’m missing something. 4 Quote http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
SFGiants58
Well, he did have that big game against Cleveland in 2020 where he led a comeback after taking a monster dump. He’s also the best QB that the Ravens have had since Joe Flacco, who was the only QB in the Baltimore franchise history to be above-competent. A good QB on a perennial contender will get the benefit of the doubt, unless they play for the Cowboys (who lost said benefit over 30 years ago). Look at how many of Jimmy G’s flaws were ignored/downplayed until his body literally gave out and he started playing for the Raiders. 2 Quote MLB: Project 32 (Complete), MLB: The Defunct Saga (Complete)
