Lee.
The Manitoba Moose play the first of two games to close out the old Winnipeg Arena tonight. On this evening, the Moose will be wearing jerseys reminiscent of the style worn by the Winnipeg Maroons and Winnipeg Braves in the 1950s and 1960s. Furthering the Nostalgia theme, organ music will be played all night and select concession items will be one dollar. Here's the pic: Welcome to DrunjFlix
tmorss9
Amazing how much that patch looks like the Memories and Dreams patch from the Gardens. "Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias"

Reaper
Amazing how much that patch looks like the Memories and Dreams patch from the Gardens. Well, considering the jersey pattern is the same as Toronto's Alternate jersey I guess it fits.
-kj
An odd placement of the patch--on the players who aren't captains, it's on the left. For the captains, it's on the right. Bwuh?! winters in buffalo
Does anyone else find irony in the fact that if you want to see a hockey game, you have to go to Winnipeg or Hartford?
Suigi
Or Quebec City.I'm pretty sure there's a QMJHL team there. And it's deliciously ironic. Maybe these teams should come out in record numbers to support both local and former teams, and get the attention of the NHL brass.Because if there's a Whiteout in Winnipeg again, and IT'S ALL JETS JERSEYS, I think Mr. Bettman will notice... GeorgesL
Now that you mentioned it, the Wolves and Blackhawks should switch leagues, not to mention arenas.
