Following Chris' recent radio show, I am also going on the radio.

My subject is Aussie Rules jumpers, and the history of them and moving forward, what they will look like and clash jumpers (some teams only use one uniform here)

www.sen.com.au for those interested in listening over the web.

I will be on at 3pm Melbourne time Thursday.

That's 8pm Pacific, and 11 East Coast Wednesday for you North Americans.

Europeans, unless you have a sleep problem, it'll be too late.

Oh, and I've got a site.

I have you both beat - for 5 1/2 years I was one of two "evening voices" for KARE Radio 1470 AM in Atchison, KS. We carried Chiefs & Royals games as well as local High School & Benedictine College Ravens athletic events.

I worked everyother evening with this guy, who married my wife's cousin. What a great job - didn't pay much, but it was an enjoyable experience. My brother took over my shift after I left - he was there about a year.

Good luck OMMF !

I've bookmarked the site--hopefully I'll be able to tune in...

(And I was a DJ on my college radio station--I did more the first year tahn after that--but I did mostly music and comedy--I also did some work for a local station writing some commercials, PSA's, filler for the DJ's and I worked on a couple of special programs doing research. Unfortunately around that time radio in Canada took a downturn and many stations downsized.)

Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here."

I'll just speak very slowly.

Fact is, news, weather and traffic take 5-6 minutes.

Then some 'words from our sponsors'.

I probably won't get on until 10 past.

Oh, and I've got a site.

11pm? I thought it was a 14 hour difference, assuming Sydney and Melbourne are on the same time schedule. That would make it 1am Thursday morning EDT?

That's what I just pointed out. Thing is, when we, in the northern hemisphere spring our clocks ahead one hour, the people in the southern hemisphere fall back one hour. Hence the 14 time difference. So for the other six months of the year the time difference is 16 hours.

I saw, I came, I left.
