Pittsburgh Pirates Concept Logo

Recommended Posts

This is more of a Modernization of the old Pirate logo than a concept but i'd like some C + C none the less heh.

EDIT : Added Version 2, which is better?

I like the first one more, but I think both would benefit from you making a bigger deal out of the earring.

Cool. I like #2. #1 looks a bit too bionic to me.

I prefer the first--the way you did the beard on that one is more "pirate-y"

Not sure why--but it is...

Over all it's a good idea--you've cleaned it up and made it jump out more...

the other thing- the eyes are slightly different between the two pirates- the #2 one's eye looks meaner- i'd try taking #2's eye and placing it on #1's face to give him more of a mad pirate look

Nice logo. I think would make a great logo (#1 or #2), not for the Pittsburgh Pirates, but maybe for a college team like ECU.

In this day and age of catering to kids, I think you also need a pissed-off parrot alternate/secondary logo. I've never understood why the Pirates have never done this, outside of its hideous mascot.

I like #1. #2 looks like "Macho Pirate" Randy Savage, OOO Yeah! Dig It!

First thing I thought too.

Here is yet ANOTHER version, I added a yellow outline, a hoop earring, and a bit more "shading" in some places.
