PeytonManningRocks
Yeah I know, haven't been to either of those, nor am I visiting either anytime soon. So I can't really judge those two. I'm hoping to go to these someday. If any of you have been there, tell me what it's like.ComericaPNCCitizens bankArlingtonMinute MaidTurnerCoorsOther than that, I have no desire to visit ProPlayer or the Tropicana Dome of Hell. I also forgot to put Camden Yards in that list, I think.

kingssss
Oriole Park is the best stadium, no doubt! . Followed by Dodger Stadium! But out of those choices I'd have to say SBC because thats the only one of choices that I've been to, lol . it is really nice, tho. I think i should start a poll with all 30 MLB parks, and see which one ppl think is the best. should i.

markar14
Wrigley Field's atmosphere is like no other, but I'd say Camden Yards because it is what Wrigley Would be like if renovated and modernized. Shea stadium, RFK, and the Cell are pieces of crap! MIL and PHI were nice too..
Brass
Fenway or Wrigley, just because of all the history. On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc?

Brass
Wrigley Field's atmosphere is like no other.... I must have to disagree. I think Fenway's is a little more. I've been to both, and Fenway's is a little bigger and better. On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc?

jkrdevil
You put a poll like this without Fenway? That's an insult. A damn insult. Fenway sucks. It's historic but it still sucks. Wrigley is much better and I;ve been to both. I went to a game at fenway a few years ago and coupldn't see a thing from my seats and I wasn't sitting behind a pole. 2 years ago I went to Wrigley and I thought it was great. no97
Of the newer parks you list, I've only been to Great American and the Jake. Neither one was all that special to me, and I can't vote for either over the others you list. I realy liked, among the newer parks, Minute Maid and Comerica. Camden Yards is OK, Turner is OK, Ameriquest in Arlington is OK. Minute Maid is realy nice. Just a fun park. Comerica has a lot going for it as well. My Dad loved PNC, but I've never been there. On the Wrigley vs. Fenway debate, I'm biased, but the around the park atmosphere at Wrigley kills Fenway (the neighborhood is not "controlled" like Yawkee Way is, therefore it is more authentic). Inside the park, Fenway is a better baseball croud (Wrigley is more about beeing seen at the game, Fenway is more about the game). As an overall experience, Wrigley wins. Just my 2 cents.Moose
HatCityEnforcer
Been to Citizens Bank and Comerica (actually, I'll be at Citizens Bank on Saturday )....hope these little reviews can help out a bitComerica Park is one of my fave parks. It's very well designed and yes, it's as huge as it seems on TV...it's not in a bad area of Detroit (aka Downtown right next door to Ford Field and pretty close to the Fox Theatre and the Hockeytown Cafe..also, Greektown is a few blocks south...best Greek food and pizza known to mankind down there...also, there's a pretty decent little gambling establishment there as well if you're into casinos ). The amenities around inside the park give it a really fan-friendly vibe. The coolest thing is walking around the main concourse and taking in some exhibits the team has detailing the history of the Tigers franchise. The concourse connecting the LF stands and the RF bleachers is pretty nice as well with statues honoring some Tiger greats (Cobb, Kaline, Newhowser, Greenberg, Gehringer, and Horton)...but the coolest statue is a lifesized one of Ernie Harwell in the main entrance. The first time I went to CoPa (as the locals call it), I got one of the ushers to get a pic of myself and my then-girlfriend-now-fiance in front of the Ernie statue. Best bet for seats are the RF bleachers (tix for there are only available on gamedays at the box office)....$8 and a voucher for a free hot dog or pizza slice and a small pop. However, if you really want a treat, get a seat in the upper deck behind home plate or on the 3B side. The park has an AWESOME view of the skyline of downtown Detroit.Citizens Bank is another one of my faves. It's got an old school feel to it...noticed how they gave a Shibe Park vibe to it (especially along the concourse (Ashburn Alley)...love how they made the kiosks look like rowhouses and having bleachers ON TOP of the kiosks). Plus, Geno's has a stand there as well...nothing like having an authentic Philly cheesesteak and washing it down with an icy cold Yuengling. Seats are pretty good (as in not a bad seat in the house...heck, the SRO area along Ashburn Alley aren't bad). The coolest thing is how they have the bullpens...the visitor's pen is WELL within range of heckling (although the ushers will chuck you out if you get a little out of control...not that I experienced that, but I saw about a few people get the boot when I was there last year). And yes, it IS a bandbox... FANTASY TEAMSHousatonic U. Dragons (NCFA Basketball): 16-6 (8-4 Conf.)--National Runner-UpJersey State U. FiddySicks
I have no desire to visit the Tropicana Dome of Hell. You'd be suprised. Tropicanan was one of the nicest ball parks ive been to. Kind of the prison atmosphere but it had a lot to offer.Oh one more thing.WHAT ABOUT MINUTE MAID PARK?!?!?!?!?!?! pcgd
As far as the newbies, I've been to Miller Park, Tuner Field and Great American. Great American was nice, but it wasn't all that great. Plus being ripped of by scalpers (surprise surprise!) wasn't a fun experience. Pretty much the same goes for Turner. Nice, but nothing special to me. The new video screen is a sight to behold however.Miller Park is highly underrated I think. First off, the tickets are cheap as hell. Get some Uecker Seats. They are behind polls at the very top of the roof. 2 bucks. The thing is, the whole place is so empty you can move anywhere. I don't know how many times I got upper deck seats for like 5 bucks or the Ueckers for 2 and then just parked myself in box seats or out in Centerfield the entire game. Second, you've got tailgaters. Any day of the week there are a really good number of people with grills out in the parking lot. Get some brats, a cheap grill (that you can throw away) and a bunch of beer and you are set. Nothing to worry about unless you are or have underagers in your group. And last, its a pretty impressive structure. The shell roof is cool in itself and it sits very high. Even in the upper deck you feel very close to the action. Its kinda strange, but you'll see what I mean when you walk in. Everything is stacked right on top of each other.Food's good too. Beer is rediculously overpriced. As far as others, I've only been to Wrigley and Busch. I really enjoy going to a game at either. You can't beat Wrigleyville, and even if you wear Cardinals gear up there, you don't usually get anything but good natured ribbing. No fights or anything. Plus you can see Harry Carey's statue, and the Ivy, the 7th inning strech, Old Style, the Cubbybear, LaBamba's down the street...Man I kinda want to make a trip up there just thinknig about it. As for Busch considering it was a multi purpose donut stadium with Turf, its quite a baseball stadium today. the great names and championships in the upperdeck, the statues of Rogers Hornsby, Stan the Man and Ozzie around the stadium, and getting to see a new stadium being built from both the inside and outside is really cool. (The stadium won't be fully enclosed when its opened. The left field bleachers are where the current Right Field stands are now. So its all open and you can walk directly over where Left Field will be. I don't care if you are a Cubs fan or a Royals fan, that's pretty cool!)Personally, I don't think going to any stadium is a bad time. Getting to watch a baseball game, outdoors, drinking a brew...can't be beat. If its the Trop or SBC its an enjoyable experience. The food at both of these stadiums is just awful though, wrigley gets the nod over busch. Of course Busch has a BBQ place just right outside, so that's good. I just figure if the stadium in named after a Beer, beer should at least be less than double what you pay at a bar right???
