Erhm...

Am I the only one trying to figure out why the CCM logo is on the hem and not under the neckline? I thought the replicas were like the authentics in that way, but they also had the same logo on the left sleeve cuff.

Unless this is old stock from the 1999-2000 season, and they just put modern letters and numbers on it... Damn, I hate being confused!

Considering the place we got it from is pretty sketchy looking (even though they have a pretty damn good selection of hats and jerseys...but who knows how old they are...), I knew this jersey was quiet old...but hey, we were impulsive and she wanted to have a Lindros jersey now, and not in a few weeks.

Well if it's old stock from 1999-2000 then the shoulder logos would be wrong.

Good point, Chris. It's kind of a Frankenstein jersey, put together with elements from different years. Hmm... kinda like Lindros, too! :P

And Neon, whatever the case is, that is still a cool jersey!

Its nice...but want to hear something scary? They said they had 2 Lindros jerseys made...they showed me the second one (the one my friend bought was in the window) and the second one only had 88 on the sleves, and on the back you could tell they took a nameplate and 28 off of it...now THAT is a frankenstein jersey. The one my friend bought didnt have any marks of having been another jersey at some point...it looked fine so i told her to get it.

BTW, I LOVE YOUR SIG. Mythbusters is one of the best shows out there.

Flames ink Roman Hamrlik: TSN.ca :D

Excellent pickup for the Flames, IMO...I think Hamrlik will help them out greatly on the blueline.

Also, I have to congratulate the New York Islanders for successfully getting rid of the only guys on their roster that were actually capable of playing defense this offseason (well, they got rid of 3 of em (Aucoin, Hamrlik, & Peca)...and you had one (Jonsson) deciding staying home in Europe was a better option)....good job!

LeClair to the Penguins... gee, I wish my team was bankrupt

Did Mario hit Powerball or something?

Gonchar, Palffy, T-Bo, now LeClair.

Some creative accounting going on in the 'Burgh if you ask me <_<

Or like all the Penguin fans of the world up until a few weeks ago.

Plus all the new Pens fans now that they have signed good players.

WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA.... i have always been a pens fan... i have had to suffer through many a year of will my team still exist... I cannot help that getting the number one draft pick in this years draft may have saved my team and made them realize they have a media juggernaut on their hands... and the best way to ride the buzz of Crosby is to give him a team to play with... dont get me wrong I was psyched on the line alone of Lemieux, Crosby and Recchi... but now that they can add some support I no longer have to worry about Rico Fata being the top scorer on the second line.

I totally agree. Peguins GM, Craig Patrick has been honest with the Pittsburgh fans when he said that most of the salary dumping was to ready the Penguins for an imminent lockout. Patrick promised the fans that in a post lockout, new CBA NHL, the Pens would be able to sign some big name players and they have. The Penguins payroll will be in the upper middle of the pack. It won't be the full $39 million that is allowed by the cap. Let's look at it this way... The Penguins were one of the worst teams with the lowest payroll for the last few seasons. Rather than spend $7 million for a marquee name while trying to get out of bankruptcy, this team decided to prepare for the lockout. During the lockout, they weren't spending much due to the small amount of players under contract. The fans were told that cost-cutting was needed for the time being in order to make sure the Penguins stay in Pittsburgh. Craig Patrick should be GM of the year for what he pulled off. Crosby aside, he has been able to put together an all-star like team for bargain prices. Some teams had to dismantle to reach the cap, while the Pens have built to reach the cap. The Penguins have new investors and with tickets starting to become hard to find in Pittsburgh, the revenues are starting to rise. I want to know what happened to all of the other teams (i.e. Washington) and why they're not doing the same thing?
