pcgd
Its probably like the NFL where they show the different shirts for the different teams, and you can order them so you'd get them asap after its official. Otherwise you get your money back. At least that's what they did with the NFC/AFC championships and superbowl shirts.
Andy
There is an A in streak? That's lame. Better than just "back to back to back to back to...etc" That's your opinion.
Shumway
This is a sweet idea for a shirt design. Too bad we wont be seeing a Phillies one, again As long as there's that left side of the field(Burrell and Bell), you won't ever see a Phillies division champs shirt. Maybe if they traded Leiby, Burrell the Girl(I hate him, if you can't tell), Bell, Thome, and Padilla, you might get that shirt. They should never have traded Polanco. Otherwise you get your money back. At least that's what they did with the NFC/AFC championships and superbowl shirts. Yeah, they make shirts for both teams in the Super Bowl. I believe they give away the unused shirts to charity....I remember reading somewhere how some guy came across a National Geographic magazine and all the kids were wearing "Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Champions" shirts. I'd make the same comment about Braves fans, but I didn't realize blue plastic could talk Sorry, but when ya win 14 straight division titles and only have 1 World title to show for it (and with the teams the Braves have had over that span, they should argueably have had at least 2-3 more World Series wins, possibly more) you're gonna get a little heat from fans that don't like the Braves...When they actually don't underachieve for once (and by that meaning a one-n-done in the DS or losing to a team that they frankly should have mopped the floor with), then I'll back off....Until then, the Braves are a lot like the Buffalo Bills of the early 90s...a talented team that just can't get over the hump when it matters the most. Then that one was dumb too.I think NL E(A logo)ST would have been a better slogan. or something similar. As far as the Padres..."Somebody had to!" is the best one. Antman28
I realize everyone loves to be outraged about the Yankees but there is a Red Sox division champs shirt pic out there too. (Both items have since been removed from the mlb.com shop). The images of the shirts and hats are always sent to retailers as are alternate World Series / Superbowl Champs posters so they can see what they are ordering and have the images up moments after a team wins. andrewharrington
For all you naysayers, (you know who you are, CC ) if you look inside the little nook and cranny of the T in EAST and WEST and the L in CENTRAL, you will find the year, 2005, in the same ghosted grey as the landmarks that extend beyond the letters. Pretty bad idea to do grey on grey, but it's there. I hate how all of these are red or blue, and the ChiSox are the only team with a playoff shot that does not have red or blue in its color scheme. Get unique, MLB.
