The ECHL Roadrunners wore these for "NBA Weekend". I got to guess that the Runners are owned by the Suns, because there's no way an NHL team would ever try to promote the NBA team in the same market.

gotta love the crossover coming to life, but these just don't look that good, sorry...

They look about as good as the Suns' actual jerseys. Which is to say, not very. Or, rather, they'd look a lot better without that awful grey, and definitely pale in comparison with the Barkley-era togs.

Now, how is this not a lawsuit waiting to happen? :therock:

Non-competing goods/industries. Now, if MeiGray bought an arena or the Saddledome entered the game-worn jersey market, then you've got a problem.

Also, how could Mei Gray sue given that the Saddledome actually existed before the company adopted the logo?

And yes, the ECHL Roadrunners are owned by the same company that owns the NBA Suns and WNBA Mercury. The ownership bought into the ECHL has a way to fill dates at the AWA since the Coyotes moved from the America West Arena to their own facility in Glendale.

The team's face is Claude Lemieux, and can be seen all over the website, in case anyone was interested.
