Will AF2 expand to canada cities

I doubt it. We had an AFL team and they only lasted one season (maybe 2 I'm not sure). We allready have the CFL competing with the NFL cant see the AFL trying to get back in the mix.

the phantoms lasted 2 seasons, drew about 7000/game -- I worked there for the 2nd half of their final season... on the "end of season letter "i received it said "see you in 2003" so there was no indication the team was leaving.

Will Af2 expand to canada in furture

No way. Travel costs would kill any Canadian team.

he means in canada... loser

Is Chris, a GTA resident, defending... the CFL?

Wait, no, just defending Break-Wood.

Thankfully, world order has been restored.

Hey now, I like the CFL... I just wouldn't mind having an NFL team in Toronto

I don't know if it would work, because the Arena League pulled the plug on the Toronto franchise after two years.

rams80 has the right idea. Travel costs would do a lot of harm. If you have a team in Toronto, Montreal or somewhere on the eastern half of Canada, then they could have long road trips to Spokane, Stockton, Everett, and San Diego.

Teams out west could have long road trips to Manchester, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Albany.

I'm just not sure it would work.

no, i don't want an af2 team in canada, i want the phantoms back

why they folded is beyond me.

Its pretty simple, they were losing too much money, so they folded to stop losing money.
