Al said something about a pile of green jerseys, and they argued whether they were green or black, and if they just looked dark because they are wet... And since it's 35-0 before the half, maybe this is enough bad karma for the Eagles to never ever ever ever ever bust these monstrosities out.My favorite moment so far was the exchange where Madden and Michaels couldn't figure out what color the Eagles were wearing, which concluded with them saying that the Eagles wearing black instead of their usual midnight green is completely pointless. Sometimes it takes the no-nonsense opinion of an Everyman dufflebag like John Madden to articulate what millions of us feel: the Eagles look stupid in black, it's a transparent marketing ploy, and it should be stopped. Anyway, to honor Reggie tonight, the should have worn the old WHITE jerseys from the mid-90's kelley green era. White because the Eagles often wore them at home during the Buddy Ryan years.
