Tank-Heres some pics of a typical ABA game. Some teams play at a small college or even a high school gym, others play at large arenas such as the Charlotte Krunk who play at 10500 seat Cricket Arena. (The Florida PitBulls play at the home of the Florida Panthers!)

But where is the fan? All I see are empty seats.

"The fan knows how to blend in its natural environment..."

OR

"The fan was unavailable for comment..."

Actually, the local ABA team, the Rochester Razorsharks, have somehow been averaging between 2,000 and 5,000 fans a game. I think that probably beats half the rest of the team's COMBINED!

By fans you all are talking about the devices used to keep the "Arena" cool while the "players" "play" "basketball" right?

Sorry about the "excessive" quotes but the "ABA" is a "league"....aww hell if Santa didn't put them on the naughty list then the ABA must be good right....right

That "article" reminds me of the magazine Gordon reads in Dodgeball something like OSM...Obscure Sports Monthly or something like that.

This is a league that some kids would create in latch-key or something...That is All.

...such as the Charlotte Krunk who play at 10500 seat Cricket Arena.

So named for the cricket sounds eminating from the seating areas?

For everyone who said the XFL was the biggest embarrassment to hit pro sports, well... okay, they might have had a good point. But this is definitely an up-and-comer looking to usurp that throne.

Shame about the Rapids. Logo is just about the best in the ABA (yeah, I know that's not saying much.) And the unis looked to be rather nice also.
