yh Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 Is that side panel gray? Orange and gray, but no purple? Gotta be just an alt., and a bad one at that.
-kj Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 They should've never changed from the "Barkley-era" (for lack of a better term) jerseys, with the diagonal stripe. This new look has been awful since they started it. If these are reality, it just got worse. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! Discrim Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 we need more orange jerseys in the nba. just no orange and gray. and i gotta take into account what Sabres87243 said here, we'll watch for it. A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
gosioux76 Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 New poster here. As far as orange jersey's go, i'll be the Charlotte Bobcats go orange, too.
eriqjaffe Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 They're not the worst things I've seen.I'm not thrilled with the "PHX" wordmark on the front.I can understand "PHILA", as Philadelphia is a heck of a long word. Phoenix is not long enough to warrant abbreviation. Will the white jersey says "SNS"?--Eriq.
MrHockey9 Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 The Suns will have player numbers where a logo would be on their shorts this season.
oilfaninvan Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 welcome gosioux, i love these jerseys! why?!?!? i'm not sure. orange and gray with what looks like a yellow line in between(?) i also like the PHX. weird. i can't believe i like those. before long i'll friggin own one. jkrdevil Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 change the side stripe to purple and I'll think it would work. Also spell out Phoenix. It dosn't look good with the PHX, it's just to big. But the stripe is the biggest problem, and they need to go with a color in there color scheme. That would be purple.
STL FANATIC Posted September 27, 2003 Posted September 27, 2003 Man if that stripe was mostly purple these things would be so freakin cool. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT

bluemonkey95 Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Longhorns still have the best orange jersey
BigMac1212 Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 No, this is the first time ive seen them.. but i know for a fact they are getting new home and away jerys, what a disgraces for a dicgraceful teamFrom the words from the immortal Mr. T:"I pity the fool who calls the Phoenix Suns a disgraceful team!"Any more, fool?

But the stripe is the biggest problem, and they need to go with a color in there color scheme. That would be purple.I know that they have been using a "PHX" wordmark in their alt logo for a couple of years now and I am wondering if this move to the front of the jersey is a nod to the trend of referring to cities by extremely short abbreviations, i.e. Orange County ("the O.C.") and Birmingham ("the 205" - way to go, Ruben). The St. Louis Cardinals ran a print ad campaign this summer(which ran mainly on bus stop shelters and light-rail stops) that said "We are the STL." I have to think that this trend has something to do with the Suns' changes. And as for the orange uniforms, I certainly think it makes logical sense seeing as how they are the Suns, however I would not have used gray as my secondary color. I think their original uniforms would have looked great if the purple and orange were flip-flopped.
