U of Hawaii Warriors 3
If i'm not mistake, the Eagles wore green last year and the Patriots wore white, so that leaves the NFC rep. to wear white this year and the AFC to wear dark, as the conferences flip every yearAm i off, or am right on this assumption? If i am right, then since Pittsburgh has already knocked out my Broncos tonight, they will be wearing their Black Helmet, Black jersey's and Yellow pants combo. If the Panthers win of course they will wear the all white combo with the Silver helmet. but how about if the seahaks should win (SEA up 10-0 with about 2 min left in the 1st quarter)? obviously they will have the Blue helmet and white jersey, but the question is the pants... will they wear blue or white? i'm kinda partial to the blue pants. FiddySicks
I hope Pittsburgh chooses white. Theyve won all their playoff games in white so why fu*k with that now? And plus, i wanna see Seattle in all blue. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) U of Hawaii Warriors 3
The AFC team has the choice of uniforms, so I'm guessing Pittsburgh in black. How come the AFC has the choice? y not the NFC? especially since its in an NFC stadium My favorite saying... "Nobody is perfect, I am nobody, so therefore i am perfect!!!" How come the AFC has the choice? y not the NFC? especially since its in an NFC stadium Stadium does not matter. In odd numbered Super Bowls (like last year, XXXIV) NFC is the "Home Team". Even numbered Super Bowl (like this year, XL), AFC is the "Home Team"
jkrdevil
The AFC team has the choice of uniforms, so I'm guessing Pittsburgh in black. How come the AFC has the choice? y not the NFC? especially since its in an NFC stadium Because the home team alternates every year. The NFC was the home team last year thus the AFC is the home team this year. The stadium has nothing to do with it.Also, I believe the Steelers always wear black when they are the "home-team." They are a very traditional team. I would say it's a 100% chance the Steelers wear black.
FSUViking
^^ So what? What does that have to do with anything? And, the Steelers don't have a choice at all. They alternate every year. Last year the NFC wore home uniforms, this year the AFC does. Next year the NFC will again. Let's not try and make it too scientific.
The_Admiral
No, they have a choice. They just won't exercise it. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

There are many times the "home-team" for the Super Bowl has wore white. The Cowboys and Redskins usally have done that.

thegame4219
cowobys and redskins ALWAYS wear white when they are the home team. We will all find out what uniform they will wear when they let us know or at media day.

speedo
I'd be very surprised if the Steelers wore white, despite their success in the whites the last three weeks. Black is their traditional home colour and I'm sure they'd stick with that... "Old folks"
