Broncos re-sign Ron Dayne, may be starting RB in Denver.

Browns sign two more, Ted Washington and Dave Zastudil.

Jesus. How much cap room do the Brownies have anyway?

Wow. Thats a HUGE shock. Looks like Seatte may have some real competition in the NFC West in Arizona and St. Louis.

Now just imagine if Arizona could somehow score Daunte Culpepper. The Cards could be real contenders for the NFC crown.

Dante prolly won't help them this year. I'd rather see them upgrade the offensive line.

I'm sorry, but Kurt Warner isn't the answer. Dude hasn't been good since the 2001 NFC Title game. Culpepper being back in the Denny Green system with Fitzgerald and Boldin as his recievers would be a tremendous combo.

Just Breaking: Washington signs Antwaan Randle El away from Pittsburgh

This means the Skins now have Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd and Randel El at WR.  Not too shabby if you ask me.

Randle El got a pretty sweet deal considering he only makes about five good/great plays a year, and two of those are on punts.

Interesting to hear about Edge. Does that put J.J. Arrington on the back burner? What about Shipp?

I don't think the Cards will go after C-Pep - I think he's going to Miami.

Oh, and a potentially genius signing by Crennel by getting Ted Washington. Low-key, but Ted can block up the middle like nobody's business, and you know Romeo liked him in 2003 with the Pats.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

I don't think Arizona is willing to give up a second round pick for Culpepper.

Maybe Shipp, Mcnown, 3rd or 4th round pick for Culpepper? Too little or too much?

The Cards don't even need Shipp or McNown if they have Edge and Arrington at running back and Warner then backing up Culpepper at quarterback.

I'm in am Arizona's GM, and it all works out with the salary cap, I pull the trigger on that deal.

I'm pretty sure McCown is a free agent. Could be wrong, but I think I remember hearing that last week.

Edit: McCown is unrestricted FA, according to nfl.com.

Perhaps Brees is going to Miami, since he didn't sign with the Saints after a meeting with them.

Guys, even though this is early in the free agency period, I'm a bit worried about the 'Hawks repeating in the West.

The Cards now have the Edge and I saw on ESPN's update that Minnesota has offered an offer sheet to Steve Hutchinson.

I don't know what this means, but if it means that Seattle has to sign the guy, then SIGN HIM!
