Sodboy13
Okay, for the first time since 1994, I don't have a postseason hockey team to root for. The Wolves missed the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. My two NHL teams, Atlanta and Phoenix, have packed their golf bags. So I need a team to root for this postseason, other than "whoever's playing Detroit this round." Help a brother out here. CC97
I'm jumping aboard the Flames bandwagon myself... But I'd also like to see Yzerman's last game be one where he's carrying a cup over his head. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
Seadragon76
I have the perfect bandwagon for you: The Carolina Hurricanes bandwagon. Why? Well, for one, I'm on that bandwagon.Secondly, when was the last time this franchise, weather they were in Hartford or Carolina, was this good? This is a once in a lifetime season for the Carolina faithful and I would love to see it finish with Lord Stanley's chalice.

Shumway
I'm with Chris on this'n...Stevie Y's last game should feature him lifting the cup over his head. Then again, I'm a die-hard Wings fan. Calgary is my 2nd choice though because of Darren McCarty.
FiddySicks
Dude. Calgary is lame, Detroit is lame, Carolina is lame.Root for a team whos never been to a cup but has a great shot and really deserves it. Kind of a newer team but with an absolutely die hard fan base. Plus, theyre logo is frickin awesome. Thats right. The one, the only,SAN JOSE SHARKS!!!!! On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) zer0dotcom
San Jose, Calgary and Buffalo are the teams that scare me the most going into the post season. They have the hot hands, and the hot goalie card. Defence wins you games int he playoffs, and Clagary has that, and The SHarks and Sabres are just plain scary. If you want a good underdog team, Montreal! Everyone loves and underdog! CC97
I'd cheer for the Sharks but their fans do nothing but complain about the world screwing them over --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
T-man3
I'm kinda in the same situation except I've never rooted for a NHL team, but I'm looking for a team. Suggestions are welcome. CJR
Why do you need to pick a team? Just root for good hockey. FantasyHockeySim.com || DetroitHockey.Net || DetroitHockey.Net FHL || cjr.dev
Korkie
I feel you can't pick a team too root for... it just happens. Just let the playoffs start and I'm sure you while find yourself gravitating to a team. In '04 after the Flyers lost to TB I was rooting hard for the Flames because I loved the energy and vibe their fans gave off. The intimacy and loudness of the arena was a welcome change to the sterilness of the Wachovia Center. Before the playoffs I could care less about the Flames, by the end I was dying after they lost. I never made an arbitrary decision to root for them, it just happened. Neon_Matrix
I'm jumping on the Wings bandwagon mainly because I love Stevie Y and I would LOVE to see him win a cup in his last season, there has, and never will be another player like him. Otherwise, the other teams I'll be keeping an eye on are the Sharks and Flames in the west and Hurricanes, Rangers and Tampa Bay...even though they eliminated my Leafs...I still gotta cheer on the team my friends dad is an assistant coach for... I will also cheer on any team who is playing Ottawa and will beat them...aka wait for them to do their usual playoffs choking. Because Korbyn Is Colour Blind, My Signature Is Now Idiot Proof - Thanks Again Braden!!Go Leafs Go!

Mac the Knife
I make my case for the Charlestown Chiefs. With those Hanson brothers, they have a real shot at winning the Federal League title...Seriously though, I actually think the Hurricanes have a shot to win it all this year, unlike '02 when they stunned everyone by making it to the finals. Shane Does Art
I would say Ottawa but even I;m worried about their goaltending issue. If Hasek comes back then you should definitely root for the sens, who will then bring the Cup to the nation's capital. Hi, how are you?
