New LA Angels red alternate

Someone on the official Angels message board just posted this as the new alternate uniform we'd been hearing about. It looks......exactly like what you would expect it to look like.

I like it overall (which is good since I love the team). I think it'll look a lot better in person and with some numbers on it. A nice change of pace once every 1-2 weeks.

Not terrible, not great. Should look decent, but I wish theyd switch the wordmark to white. Too bad it doest have a Navy alt hat to go with it.

me too because the red lettering is kinda difficult to read regardless of the very thick outlines.

Nice jersey. Dont quite understand the white/silver/white sleeve and collar piping, as it doesn't match the scheme on their home and road jerseys. I wonder if the actual gamers will have straight silver instead. I also would not be TOO surprised to see these turn up with white numbers.

I actually like the red jersey, but i think they should have used Navy lettering, ya know flip the "A N G E L S" from being outlined in Navy and filled w/ red to outlined w/ red and filled w/ navy

Regardless, the all red look for the Angels works. It creates a nice "red vs blue" thing for LA baseball.

The arm striping is throwing me off. Maybe some blue in it? idk.

I would recommend maybe making a navy alternate, but with the abundance of blue and red teams, I guess i can settle on this red alternate.

Hey, a team that would actually look good in a red jersey, or at least as good as possible under the circumstances. I really don't like red jerseys in baseball at all. I find them garish. Washington and Atlanta's are real misfires, but this is decent.

EDIT: Houston's aren't the worst, but that's more of a brick red than just plain red.

Exactly. I believe this reason alone was the main reason why the Angels went Red.

It just sounded good to have a tie-in with Mr. Autry.
