There's only one word that summarizes the 90's: TACKY!!!! College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Those Hawks unis alone deserve to be way high up on the list of the ugliest uniforms ever, but somehow they get ignored. Probably because they're the Atlanta Hawks. I loved 'em! Sharp, classy, simple. Wish they would go back to those!The Reebok uniforms of the 90's... suck! Utah, Texas, and Bowling Green in these pics. When I was at Washington State we had Reebok unis in the 96-97 season. They were awful. We had the same template as Seton Hall with the goofy stripe down the left leg. Before I got to Eastern Washington, they had the same template as Bowling Green, with the insert down the right side of the jersey and shorts and an insert on the bottom of the left leg.I remember those Texas Tech unis. Sport Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 The 90's was actually a pretty good decade for uniform design when talking about Football, baseball and for the most part hockey (excluding some of those ridiculous third jerseys) but for some reason basketball uniforms were awful.
