-(dp)-
Oh, okay, so it is okay for you to do, but not for me. There was plenty of SEC hype and Big Ten bashing last year too, even before the National Championship game. That, and the fact that you said you will take a Michigan loss over a Big Ten win EVERY time. It was quite clear that you meant under no circumstances would you root for Michigan, but you have done just that. Well, now that you were rooting for Michigan against Florida this year, it makes it okay, but it was still wrong for me to do? Not only did you say I shouldn't, but the way you went off on me, telling me I didn't understand the rivalry, and lost all credibility, now you go and do the same thing? If it is okay for you to do once, it was okay for me to do once. If it wasn't okay for me to do, it is not okay for you to do. Make up your mind.I still can't get past the fact that you took the time to dig up something I posted over a year ago. That's dedication. That's right, I had to hear it from you last year, and when I noticed you did the same thing, I couldn't resist.
rams80
This rivalry is funny.Normally I end conversations with Ole Miss fans with a half-hearted "GO TO HELL, OLE MISS!" and that's that, but I love the fact that you two actually compared this to The Klingons forming an alliance with The Federation. Best rivalry ever.So does that make Florida the Romulans? And was the Appalachian State loss the explosion of Praxis? Fred T. Jane
Gosh-darn Trekkies. Use proper obscure references, like Jovian Chronicles! [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. infrared41
i guess this topic answers the old sports addage......if ohio state and lsu play in the national championship does anybody careFirst, it's adage with one d. Second, an adage is a statement not a question. Third, the question or riddle that you are trying to paraphrase is from philosophy not sports. (and it's a dumb philosophical question at that) Finally, if you wanted to paraphrase it and have it make any sense at all you should have asked, "If LSU and Ohio State play in the national title game and no one cares does it really matter?" You left out a key part of the riddle. Other than that, I'd have to say wow you really told us what was what didn't you.
