Just making sure...

That's the logo of the band Van Halen, is it not?

Judging by the two pictures posted, they are alike, but they are not the same logo.

Yeah, on each side, one of the three bars has been taken off, leaving two.

And the serif on the V is smaller.

the rest is the same though.

how do you get to the texas hs helmet project?

I went to this site:

www.google.com (it's what's called a "Search Engine")

I then typed in "texas high school helmet project"

And guess what came up?

Now, I wouldn't go to the first entry (http://www.texashsfootball.com/helmetproject.htm), as that didn't work.

So I went to the second as well.

And there you go:

http://www.txhshelmetproject.com/TexasHighSchools/index.htm

You take that internet voodoo somewhere else.

Great to see that these schools have no boundaries. They will steal logos from teams, bands, and anywhere else they can see something that looks cool. Just a couple of minor tweaks then, "Voila!" It's a whole new logo!

Those arguments always remind me of Vanilla Ice trying to explain how the bass line in "Ice, Ice Baby" was different from the bass line in Queen/David Bowie's "Under Pressure."

"See, we added that extra 'ting' -- so it's 'ting-ting-ting-ting-ting-ting-ting-TING.' It's different."
