TrueYankee26
And what numb nut at Utah is doing their promotional stuff for this season?Take a look at the site:Utah JazzThe top...."Life Off, Game On"??? Does anybody else find themselves saying....wtf?that slogan is RETARDED!!!!!!! trueyankee26.wordpress.com
The_Admiral
Yeah, "game on" is more of a hockey term. The 1996-2004 Utah Jazz set was inspired. Just go back to that. I don't know what they're doing anymore. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
AAO
I agree, the 96-04 was def original. But it's not so much the 'game on' part, more the whole, 'life off, game on'? Life off? Game On? The_Admiral
Stop caring about anything else while you're watching the game. I suppose it's a catchy, albeit pretty unhealthy, slogan. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

jhans203
I am pretty sure that the recolored Jazz note is not a secondary. I have seen that logo on hats since 2004 when they recolored the logo. I haven't seen anything or heard anything that would give the impression that they are using the posted graphic. Hoopskid
Also, another little change if anyone cares...The kings Crown logo, which used to be tilted 5 degrees is now simply flat.
Delux247
Also, the UJ secondary they had is now gone. So basically they traded UJ for a note JAnd, colowerx, didn't you recolor something very similar to this?Talk about your "Gasol for Kwame" -type swap. I'm embarassed as the biggest resident Jazz fan. Nothing new was created in their last update, but I thought it was nevertheless an upgrade. This does not keep with that trend.Very much out of place in the current scheme. swilson160
Thanks, but no thanks, Utah. The Jazz need to go back to purple if they're going to start digging up old logos.*patiently awaits unoriginal 'FAIL' pic*Wouldn't want you to feel let down. Firefly
What happened to the purple? It's on the main logo.If this was just a recolor shouldn't it be more likeNot that the Utah Jazz makes any sense at all. Snowcaps mountains don't make me think of jazz at all. Maybe they could have a secondary featuring jazz hands with icicles.

Viper
Yup, this is pretty lame. Then again (1) their primary logo is downright mystifying (what do a bunch of mountains have to do with jazz?) and (2) I'm not a big fan of the team taking the Jazz identity with them from New Orleans in the first place - it just doesn't fit in Salt Lake City. Guess what: teams move and keep names. They made the best of an awkward sitch by shifting the focus from nickname to location. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
CAVALIER
That belongs to New Orleans as much as Hugo belongs to Charlotte, I wish they would have left it alone...brings back bad memories
