Razorbacks changed their jerseys

it appears Arkansas ditched their new design midway thru the season.

they removed the cherry "tusk" stripes from the waste of the jersey, for a very generic cherry side panel under the arm.

also the white pants they were wearing yesterday were solid white.

They wear both, as you see in the second one the "tusks" Stripes are still there just white, Cinncinati has done the same, their black are like the "new" Arkansas aways and thier away have the "tusk" colored in, My guess is it is an alternate away, they will likely wear a home jersey lkie that too, but the other ones are still there and they will likely wear them, unless they think these new ones WON them the game, or it could be Auburns offense sucks

i doubt they did this as an alternate, they obviously decided it would look better.

The Razorbacks seem to wear something different every year, I know they looked like Oklahoma last year, but that was the best look they have had.

I guess we will find out next week whether these are thier new away jersey or if it is a alternate, if it is the new away, I wonder if they will do the same with the home, I actually like the "tusks" stripes colored in better than the side panel

In a vacuum, I think that set looks great and is a darn near perfect compliment to their logos and colors. That said, they look almost identical to OU's all white set and are probably aiming for a more unique look. Bama tends to fall into this category as well, but like OU, they have stayed with their current look for so many decades, they don't have to change. Arkansas made the mistake of constantly tweaking, then modernizing, then attempting to revert to a traditional look.

Um, I don't think so. Yes, the old stripes are still there, but that's called a template. Adidas probably just decided to change it. It's still the exact same uniform. Just some template panels are switched in color. It's not an alternate. That would be pretty stupid.

I think it's better to look a lot like someone eles that to look bad for uniqueness' sake. Last year's were great. No stupid color patches, no black outline. The Hogs on the outside shoulder made them different from OU's. I might move the Hog on the front of the pants to both hips at the top of the stripes.
