GoDawgs08 Posted October 12, 2008 Share Posted October 12, 2008 it appears Arkansas ditched their new design midway thru the season.they removed the cherry "tusk" stripes from the waste of the jersey, for a very generic cherry side panel under the arm.also the white pants they were wearing yesterday were solid white. That said, they look almost identical to OU's all white set and are probably aiming for a more unique look. Bama tends to fall into this category as well, but like OU, they have stayed with their current look for so many decades, they don't have to change. Yes, the old stripes are still there, but that's called a template. Adidas probably just decided to change it. It's still the exact same uniform. Just some template panels are switched in color. Last year's were great. No stupid color patches, no black outline. The Hogs on the outside shoulder made them different from OU's.
