Dick Lebeau and Mike Tomlin ought to be fired immediately after their team's poor performance tonight.

Granted, it's not easy when you're playing eleven-on-eighteen most of the way (let's see, those phantom calls on Harrison and Taylor?) But no team should be giving up 127 yards to a has-been wide receiver. If he was any good, he'd be playing in the AFC.

You are by far the most clueless poster this forum has ever had. Congrats man, that's not an easy task.

Okay I wasn't home to post so here are some thoughts:

-Why not just throw 3 fade routes to Fitzgerald inside the 5. Thats a much greater chance of a touchdown than into the middle with 10 more guys?

-Officiating in this game must've made Holmgrim(sp?) have flashbacks at times. Some calls in this game, for both sides, were terrible.

-I still believe Harrison's left forearm was down with his right forearm, and the ball, not across the goalline.

-How was Harrison not thrown out of the game for repeatedly punching Francisco? What a thug.

-I honestly thought, just like when the Eagles took the lead in the NFC champ. game, that the Cardinals were going to win when they took that lead.

-Big props to Santonio Holmes.

-And how on earth can you not challenge that last play. They biggest need for a challenge this whole season due to the circumstances, and they don't do it. Unbelievable.

Coaches can't challenge inside of 2 minutes, reviews come from the booth upstairs.

Outside of the roughing the passer call, I didn't have a problem with the officiating. Bot teams played undisciplined. The Cardinals moreso than the Steelers.

How long until when you tell people you're an NFL fan, they respond with "You know it's fake, right?"

If I said I didn't think about the example of professional wrestling tonight, I would be lying.

Yeah i'd like him to tell everyone about his so called "Regulation" of the NFL, where all the AFC teams play for the Lombardi Trophy while the NFC teams play for promotion to the AFC(told to me via IM) . Has-been my ass, a player that has 1400 yards in two consecutive seasons with double digit TD catches is far from a has been. Will I respect you, but this is truly the first time, I am definitely not happy with you.

All in all, I hate to see the Steelers win, but it was an exciting game. But with all the extra hoopla and the game itself, the Superbowl, for reasons I can't really explain, is losing it for me.

Just like the WWE is real..

Burning tapes of teams cheating, fining refs for telling the truth, ignoring bad officiating... we're almost there.

I haven't checked on this whole thread, but has anybody submitted that the Cardinals got a ton of penalties because the Cardinals are a mediocre team?

No. A mediocre team doesn't get beat by 40 by a team that had more wins, yet failed to make the playoffs.

I haven't come right out and said it but I have made that hint. Then again the Steelers weren't the models of discipline in the 4th.

Perhaps said team needs to win more Division games next year.

/Just a thought.

Yeah you're right. I was wrong with the officiating, I was just in the heat of the moment I guess, but they were not the factor at all in the game's decision. (I kept reading that to myself and it sounded sarcastic, but I'm being serious there.)

And thats what i meant with the challenge. The booth challenged Harrison's play, which was crucial to the game. They should've not let the Steelers offense out there and immediately gone to a booth review.

Question now is, do you think Kurt Warner can be officially placed in the Hall of Fame? 3 Super Bowls all very close. Not to mention he did break Joe Montana's all-time passing yards record

No, he didn't have a long enough career and the middle portion of it was bad. I know he has a Super Bowl but there are several other QB's that have won Super Bowls and had good careers like Warner that aren't in the Hall of Fame.

I don't think there should be a question. You know there wouldn't be if you could take one play away in each of his two SB losses.

At most though, he needs two more years of racking up TDs and yards, and I think he'll get those anyways.

So, I think he gets in when the time comes.

Of course, this is also the Professional football hall of fame, and he has taken teams to championship games in another league as well.
