Looks like the Jets are going to hang on and beat the Patriots. Funny thing is that the Patriots played like absolute crap and still kept it a close game.

It's official, the Saints look like they are the 17th best team in the NFL as we speak.

Yes because the Chiefs and Raiders are for sure better.
The Chiefs and Raiders only have bad records because they have to play an AFC schedule. If they were playing an NFC schedule, they'd be playoff teams, easy.

I hope Donnie Avery gets lost in Southeast tonight.

I'd be willing to bet that if the Saints and Raiders played this season, that the Raiders would win by 20.

How is JaMarcus Russell THIS bad?

EDIT: Actually it may not matter. The Chiefs look even worse. How do you let an 80 yard drive get killed because you're not watching the clock and time runs out? That's high school :censored: right there.

I thought the Chiefs fired Herm Edwards.

Its a shame they aren't because otherwise I'd take that bet.

In any case, you can't judge how good the Saints are by the fact that they carved up the Lions and Eagles - neither have had very good defenses since the 80s at the latest.

Didn't know you were a Lions fan Will.

I think beating the Eagles is impressive. And you really can't argue with an offense that racks up 40+ points two games in a row.

Now if you wanna criticize the Saints defense, you might have a case to make.

Can't give them credit when they play two Charmin defenses. Let's see them do it against an AFC defense?

Brady loses a regular season game for the first time since 2006....

Jets 16, Patriots 9....

OH HELL YES!!!....

J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!

I don't suppose you were at the Meadowlands for that game...but I think I heard the Jets crowd from down here in Maryland.

Seriously, that place was--and this is a gross understatement--LLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUDD. At one point I had to look out the window to make sure I wasn't IN East Rutherford. That was insane! BUT, awesome all at the same time.

And oh by the way...this has been a great football weekend for fans not in L.A. or in Massachusetts. Golden Boy Tommy Brady and his Patriots (oh...and "The Hoody", as well) AND the Golden Trojans in USC going down in the same weekend???!!! Pure 100% awesomeness.

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

They played last year. And a New Orleans team that failed to make the postseason in the NFC still managed to beat the Raiders. 34-3.

And for what it's worth... the Saints beat the Chiefs too. Just sayin'...

I think 40 points two weeks in a row against ANY NFL defense is decent. Favre and Peterson only put 27 points on the Lions defense.

Any AFC team could put up 60 against the Lions or Eagles though.

WHO-DEY

Good win in Lambeau Field. They tried to Bengal their way out of it at the end there and with the Packers getting the onside kick I thought I was watching another Bengals disaster. Aggh, they should be 2-0, but I guess 1-1 is a better start than the 0-8 they put up last year.
