What about someone like Case Keenum?

case-keenum-p1.jpg

I could see him going to some capable hands in the 3rd-4th round. Maybe the Dolphins?

I don't think the Dolphins need a QB, they have a couple dependable Quarterbacks in Henne and Pat White.

I actually have to agree with McShay when he says Shanahan will take a QB 4th.

His "Eric Berry is an Eric Berry type player" comment this morning was classic though

Brian Bulaga would look good in Green though so that part Im ok with lol

Kings Cross AFC -BIP, Winnipeg Falcons - TNFF, St. Louis Archers - MLF

Holy Cow, if the Bucs actually draft Dez Bryant, that'd be a huge mistake. Draft a lineman, but I'd be all for trading all their picks to get Suh, because defense wins championships and they have nothing up front worth talking about. If you want to rebuild a franchise, get a franchise dominating player like Suh, and leave Dez Bryant to the Raiders or the Lions where he'll falter as all over-rated/over-hyped recievers go to die.

As a Bucs fan, I totally agree. The Bucs need to spend their first pick on defense. I don't know if I would trade that much to get Suh, but if he falls to #3 (which a lot of people of the Bucs' message board sees as a possibility), then we take him. Otherwise, the Bucs are guaranteed either Suh, McCoy, or Berry, either of which could help the Bucs tremendously.

But if we do draft an offensive player, I wouldn't mind it if they got Okung.

I can see the Redskins picking a QB. Certainly seems as if the Jason Campbell era may be either over or coming to an end at least. Shanahan hasn't been shy to give rookie QBs a go in the past. If one or both of Claussen or Bradford fall that far, and they may well do, then one of those will be a Redskin in 2010. At the moment, I don't see the Browns taking a QB, Brady Quinn seems to have gone a distance to getting at least a go as starting QB in 2010. I am not sure whenther the Seahawks will go for a QB either at the end of the day. Yeah Hasselbeck is getting on a bit, but I wouldn;t have thought that for the moment QB is a desperate need for that team.

I also don't see so many defensive backs [safeties and corners particularly] being taken so early. That historically is not a first round priority for many teams. I would be quite shocked if a running back doesn't go before the 22nd overall pick. I can see some teams in the top 10 who will feel the need for a new running back, even if there isn't a hugely deep field of them in this years draft.

9. BUF - Joe Haden - CB - Florida

A corner? Really? Did you put any research whatsoever into that? The Bills' pass defense is the strongest unit of their whole team. 2nd in the league in passing YPG/allowed and INTs.

The Bills will use the No. 9 overall pick on a franchise QB, left tackle or outside linebacker. Bank on it.

Agreed, there is no way the Bills select a CB or Safety with the 9th pick. However I could see them taking a DE or DT if Claussen and Bradford are both gone, especially if Schobel does retire.

The Ravens certainly need a WR, but I'm not sure the draft is the best place to get one. They take a while to develop and alot are busts (at least the ones the Ravens seem to pick). I think a pass rusher would be the better choice. But Newsome will probably select the best player available.
