redsox1002003
That is from Colorwerx. I had my own pic, but it's too small. I don't mind the green/orange color scheme either, except it looks like it would have been teal or sea green instead of true green. But I agree, I like the current color scheme, even though I tried to tinker with sky blue and burnt orange, but I didn't like how it turned out. And I never noticed how similar it is to the Cavs logo. Probably the same designer. 13-3. 1st place in NFC West. 1 fumble away from Super Bowl 46.. 40-26. Lost in Conference Semifinals34-36-12 80 Points. Painfully watching the rivals win the Cup. 28-26. 3 GB of AL East lead. Starting to turn around the season. ohiop34
I recall watching ESPN back when the Grizzlies were to be moving to Memphis and an Express logo was shown. The logo was, as best as I can remember, the front of a train with the wordmark "Express" written underneath. Anybody else remember this?

winters in buffalo
Sometime in the early 90s, the LA Clippers were going to use this logo, but luckily it was scrapped tragically, the Pistons used it instead.FYP.
TruColor
ColorWerx has an even better-quality version of that, IIRC.As a Clippers fan, I actually really like that color scheme, but there's two main flaws: 1) at the time it was going to be used, they would have looked way too similar to the Cavs, and 2) red, white, and blue has become the traditional Clipper color scheme and just looks nice. That is from Colorwerx. I had my own pic, but it's too small. I don't mind the green/orange color scheme either, except it looks like it would have been teal or sea green instead of true green. Although the color scheme could be better. Thanks Dolphins91 for the jersey avatars.

DnBronc
The Jaguars rebrand that should have happened. The Jags wanted to use that logo, but the Jaguar car company threatened to sue, so they decided to go with a new logo and uniforms.

Holy crap, that would've been terrible. Even the mess that they have right now is better than that. Â Â
nash61
What about the Washington Capitals one? I remember on the old version of NHLuniforms, there was a picture of the concept jerseys and someone also posted on the board somewhere that ugly eagle looking thing as the logo. They were also reverting back to a red, white and blue colour scheme. Ted Leonis stepped in and put an end to that abomination. You mean this disgrace? And this one. This one's a beauty, too. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. TheRevTy
According to Jonah Keri's book "The Extra 2%" (which is an inside look at how the Tampa Bay Rays went from worst to first), the name Devil Rays was originally meant to be Sting Rays, but notorious cheapskate owner Vince Naimoli bulked at the $35,000 fee to buy out the Honolulu Stingrays name, so they polled if the fans would prefer Devil Rays or Manta Rays. Manta was the obvious early winner, until the polls slowly started changing, and were finally closed when it was close to 50-50. Apparently ownership had already settled on Devil Rays, even going so far as to print t-shirts and jerseys. When the new ownership went to rebrand, the other names considered as alternatives to the shortened Rays were Aces, Bandits, Cannons, Dukes, and Stripes. The new owner's favorite was to be called the Nine, a play off of the Mudville Nine. But, according to the book, he wanted to be called the Florida Nine. However, the Marlins were still on the fence about changing their name to Miami, and the Tampa Bay Nine sounded too much like a news channel, so they went with the Rays, to invoke "a feeling rather than a fish".Wonder if there are any prelim logo concepts out there for any of those names. JohnnySeoul
It's a damn shame this isn't their uniform and name. The Thunder name and uniforms are one of the worse in the NBA. JohnnySeoul's WikipageIF ONE IS CONSIDERED RACIST, THEN BOTH MUST BE CONSIDERED RACIST.BOTTOM LINE: NEITHER ONE IS RACIST.
