Alright, my second shot at a concept league using inkscape. I've learned some new tricks since my last concept and this time i doing basketball instead of football.

The idea: I came up with the idea when i was playing basketball outside on my hoop. I just it would be a cool idea.

The Teams: There are 12 teams split up into two divisions, East and West:

EAST

New York Liberty White Color

Washington Presidents White Color

Boston Americans White Color

Philadelphia Tigers White Color

Atlanta Bulls White Color

Miami Falcons White Color

WEST

LA Ballers White Color

Houston Gamblers White Color

Las Vegas Sheriffs White Color

Seattle Thunder White Color

Portland Fire White Color

Phoenix Pirates White Color

First up, the New York Liberty. This uniform is very obviously based on the New York Knicks:

the picture seems to be coming out in really low quality when I convert them to PNG. I don't why this is happening.

The Washington Presidents: I used the same colours as the state flag on this one. Again, the SVG to PNG conversion screwed up again, so keep this in mind.

Um, the WNBA has the New York Liberty...Good thing you can think up a new name with these jersey designs!

woops, i never watch WNBA (like 99.9% of the world) so I wouldn't know

I think an outdoor league would have more hip hop influenced names seeing as how outdoor basketball is ostensibly linked to streetball. The only one you have that I could actually see being used is LA Ballers.

Just my 1/50th of a dollar...

Some of the nicknames make sense to me, while others... I dunno. Pirates? For a team based in the middle of the desert?

yeah that one didn't make sense to me either, any suggestions?

For an outdoor league you could make these a bit more interesting and different. Ordinary NBA uniforms are boring enough... outdoor basketball could be colourful and different. I would even have the shorts different colours to the singlet.... just one idea...

All the uniforms are the same rather plain design just different colors and the names don't really have any imagination, not to mention you use the name of a current WNBA team (NY Liberty) and the name of a former team (Portland Fire). I really don't mean to sound rude or anything, but this whole thing is verly lacking in any creativity. Sorry.

Do you mind if use these when i do re-do this concept, those are really good!

both your jerseys have side striping on the top jersey and nothing on the pants. ive seen teams with shorts stripes that dont run up into the jerseys side, but never the other way around, which you have here. obviously its ok to have unique ideas, but these are just too bland.

i know youre in the processo of rethinking your team names, so heres some more names that have been used which you listed in your first list of names.

portland fire - former wnba team

houston gamblers - old usfl team i believe

and the ny liberty which has been noted.

although sometimes expansion teams do adopt a name that a former team in that city have used, so its not necessarily a bad thing.
