I think T.S. Eliot wrote a poem about the NFC West, and no, it is not the one with the Rumpus Cat.

Jim Mora is absolutely insufferable to listen to.

This is THE worst broadcast team I have ever heard. I can't stand Buck/Aikman, but Mora/whatshisname are horrific.

The Bengals just put the Browns away. Wow. Cleveland just lost to a team starting Bruce Gradkowski.

Actually, Dalton started. Gradkowski came in when Dalton was hurt, but the point remains.

Question for a rational Clevelandish guy: Are people fed up with this :censored:version of the Browns? Do they still have the same level of support as they did in 1999?

In short, yes I am. Today was ridiculous. What made it even worse is that I knew it was coming (go back a few pages and see for yourself.) If I believed in such things, I'd say that the relentless ineptitude of this team is karmic retribution for the ass-holish behavior of the majority of our fans. (God knows they deserve it.) But since I don't believe in that type of thing... :D

Then again...

Down goes Tolbert.

Walked off the field, but limping badly, looks like a knee. He's on the ground writhing on the sideline.

Looks like he's ok, they're massaging a cramp on the sideline it looks like. Dehydration maybe.

Vikings just gave away any chance they had because Rivers can yell really loud. What a dud of a way to start the year for the Vikings fans.

Vikings committed too many penalties to end the game. 28 pass yards total today. All I can say is wow.

Wow what a fail.

Grossman looking good as hell, Eli Manning looking like a snively punk on the sideline. Way to go skins! Looking good in those uniforms.

...and fox goes to 49ers/Seahawks instead of Panthers/Cardinals. What a gip.

edit: just saw Ginn's touchdown return, nice.

4PM Lessons

The Chargers showed some resiliency today but the injuries may be a concern.

The Giants are in big trouble and Rex Grosssman looked good for the Redskins

Cam Newton looks like he is going to be a superstar despite the loss. He played better than anyone could have expected.

No matter what the result the Seahawks and 49ers are both going nowhere.

49ers/Seahawks is like this great boxing match between a one-armed man and a blind dude.
