hettinger_rl
Haven't been on here for awhile. I have sketched up another OKC Thunder concept though. I still feel that they should work a Bison into the logo.
frosty06306
I think this is pretty damn impressive, anything is really better than their current logo. I really like the way you incorporated the clouds and approaching storm with the idea of a buffalo charging. Would be nice to see which colors you had in mind. fishheatcats
Brilliant idea. I love where this is going.I think the clouds on the sides look too much like wings right now. It may be the symmetry or it could just be that it's a line sketch. If those were ominous dark cloud colors it might be different. Nice start! altosax29b
An accentuation of the horns is probably important so it doesn't look too much like a sheep.
hettinger_rl
Does anyone have any ideas of how to lay the OKC color scheme in here? I've tried a couple of things and they end up looking too colorful; as in overbearing.
Keeb13r
The angle doesn't nearly accentuate the bison face enough - it reminds me of the Grateful Dead "Deadhead" logo. But it is masterfully executed. It probably just needs the bison to be a little more apparent.
jaha32
It's a nice idea, but the whole thing looks forced and unnatural. Also, there's just too much going on and too much detail. The clouds look like sheep's wool, so to me it looks more like a sheep or goat than a bison, especially since it's all white and just an outline rather than a logo. hettinger_rl
Ok, so I've cut out the extra clouds around the circle and added a thin line to show the separation for the horns and nose. These separations would only be in the B&W or gray versions. Hopefully this helps to focus things a bit.

JTernup
I would ditch the circle too, I'm not entirely sure what that is supposed to be. I do like it though but could you please clarify why a bison or what it has to do with the thunder name. The Impaler
Just a thought here, but when I think Thunder I think of the shape of the clouds. IMO you need to work in the typical anvil shape into the cloud design as that would make it look less fluffy, more ominous, and more interesting. Love the incorporation of the Bison though, works perfectly for a team based in OKC.
EvilEmpire
I'd try to make the horns stand out a bit more, ther seem to get a bit lost in the clouds, that might go away once its colored though
RedSox44
*Insert anti-Thunder, pro-Sonics trollbait here*This is a pretty damn good uniform. Give the Thunder better colors, and this would be a damn good uniform and logo set.

I do like it though but could you please clarify why a bison or what it has to do with the thunder name. The circle could be used as a ball/sunset; sort of a remnent of the current logo. Also, some of the reasons that they should add a bison to their logo set are these:- They use a bison as their mascot already (and the mascot is said to have come out of a thunderstorm)- The sound that bison make running in a heard sounds like thunder. - A nickname for bison, that comes from some native american tribes, is "thunder beast"- Oklahoma's state animal is the bison- Bison are big and bulky like thunder clouds but can strike with speed and power like the storms that come from thunder clouds

JesseWise
Reading through the thread, before reaching the last post, I thought it was a good idea to to make the sun a basketball. And it looks good. For a primary logo, such as one that would be on the jerseys, I would eliminate the horizontal clouds and keep the bison and the sun.For a word mark, I would keep this logo and add a word mark (obviously). This may require the removal of some of the solid lines that distinguish the bison and the clouds, but I think shading could replace those lines. So far, I think this is a great logo: classy, simple, and unique.
New_Member
The colorized logo looks great! I think this may look better without the lightning bolts. The horizontal clouds are needed to make it clear that the bison is a cloud, but maybe they could stand to be trimmed at bit more to make the logo less horizontal overall. TylerBray8
You should get somebody to clean this up for you and then see how it looks. The basketball looks really good in the background tho. Nice work.
