LeGooo 0 Posted December 2, 2011 The shortened season is right around the corner, with camps starting in a week, and opening night on December 25th. Reports have a 5 game Christmas Day schedule, featuring the Bulls visiting Staples Center to meet the Lakers, and opening day wraping up with the Clippers going to Oracle to face the Warriors. Until the season starts, this is the place to post predictions. Can't wait for the season to get started
loogodude90 2 Posted December 2, 2011 I'll go ahead and predict an 18-48 regular season record for my Wizards. I think I'm being optimistic.
Punch 7 Posted December 2, 2011 The Timberwolves are going to be much improved this year. With the star-studded lineup of Ricky Rubio, Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, and Derrick Williams, they should finish 4th in the Northwest Division and 13th in the Western Conference.

bosrs1 1,288 Posted December 9, 2011 Looks like Oakland is in danger of now losing all 3 of their pro teams...http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/12/08/MN5R1MAC8Q.DTL&tsp=1The Warriors are in talks with San Francisco exploring moving their operations to a new arena to open by 2017 just south of ATT Park on the SF waterfront. This of course adds to the A's having one foot out the door for San Jose and the Raiders looking at possibly moving to Santa Clara or LA.

DarkJourney 186 Posted December 9, 2011 Oakland is a pit. That town is dead (except for the nice homes up in the hills of course - Montclair, Piedmont). San Francisco Warriors always had a cool ring to it. If they do move back to the city I'm sure we will see a re-brand again. Having the Oakland side of the bay bridge in the logo won't do if they move back to SF. "The City" and cable car could make their long awaited return. But it's still a wait and see proposition especially when dealing with San Francisco politics.
NJTank 1,129 Posted December 9, 2011 That would be great for the Warriors, I hate the Golden State moniker; sounds like a team in the Horizon Conference.
