Magnum
I hope the home field advantage will really make the difference...But seeing that they've only won 1 at home, it's hard to tell.
NEW.ERA
Red Sox wrangled up John FarrellIt's too bad we lose Farrell, but should be getting a decent return and the Sawks are dumpster fire. patsox
Red Sox wrangled up John FarrellIt's too bad we lose Farrell, but should be getting a decent return and the Sawks are dumpster fire. He won't fix it, so....Apparently you guys are getting Aviles, AND giving the Red Sox a player back as part of the trade as well. I've also heard swirlings about Lind coming here, but not sure about that one.Alex Speier of WEEI.com:According to an industry source, the Red Sox have hired John Farrell as their manager. The team has agreed to hire him on a three-year deal that runs through 2015.Details of the compensation that the Blue Jays will receive for releasing Farrell from his contract as the Toronto manager have not been confirmed by parties directly involved in the trade. However, an industry source has informed WEEI.com’s Rob Bradford that the Red Sox will send infielder Mike Aviles to the Blue Jays. The Red Sox will receive a player or cash in return, as Major League Baseball rules require that a trade involving one player moving to a team involve either cash or a player going to the other party to the trade. Not too sure about this one. But hey! Anyone's better than Bobby Valentine right?!

I don't have anything against Farrell, but he didn't do the job I was expecting of him. It's possible I had too high of expectations on him, but I was very disappointed in this season. sportstar1212
I'm not surprised at all. Hell, I was shocked when the Sox didn't get Farrell last winter.
RedSox44
Not enamored with Farrell, but knew there wasn't a chance in hell it would've been anyone else. And I like the rest of the Jays' staff, so hopefully, Lovullo, Butterfield and others move with him.

DarkJourney
Vogey! Vogey!Joe Buck has been pretty decent in this series but as things are getting tight for the Cards, you can here the homerism in his voice just a little bit.
TheOldRoman
Is Mike Aviles suddenly not a :censored:ty player? Losing Farrell AND giving up another player, only to get Mike Aviles in return? Blue Jays fans should be furious.

It's filled with craziness and people in funny hats. Speaking of flubbing God Bless America, the guy who sang it in game two did the same thing. The weed they provide in the batting cages below must be really good. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)
