Zito just had the start of his career. Now on to game six in San Francisco. We're still alive!

Red Sox wrangled up John Farrell

It's too bad we lose Farrell, but should be getting a decent return and the Sawks are dumpster fire. He won't fix it, so....

Apparently you guys are getting Aviles, AND giving the Red Sox a player back as part of the trade as well. I've also heard swirlings about Lind coming here, but not sure about that one.

Alex Speier of WEEI.com:

According to an industry source, the Red Sox have hired John Farrell as their manager. The team has agreed to hire him on a three-year deal that runs through 2015.

Details of the compensation that the Blue Jays will receive for releasing Farrell from his contract as the Toronto manager have not been confirmed by parties directly involved in the trade. However, an industry source has informed WEEI.com’s Rob Bradford that the Red Sox will send infielder Mike Aviles to the Blue Jays. The Red Sox will receive a player or cash in return, as Major League Baseball rules require that a trade involving one player moving to a team involve either cash or a player going to the other party to the trade.

Not too sure about this one. But hey! Anyone's better than Bobby Valentine right?!

I've seen on Twitter the player is David Carpenter. If that's true. I'm a happy Jays fan. I don't have anything against Farrell, but he didn't do the job I was expecting of him. It's possible I had too high of expectations on him, but I was very disappointed in this season.

Why does a large black woman have an elaborate gingerbread house on her head?

It's San Francisco!

Pissing off conservative America one day at a time - :censored: yeah!

She is a cast member for the long time San Francisco Musical/Play called Beach Blanket Babylon. It's filled with craziness and people in funny hats.

Speaking of flubbing God Bless America, the guy who sang it in game two did the same thing. The weed they provide in the batting cages below must be really good.
