Ok so what I can gather from that pic is that it is a light jersey (grey?) with navy shoulder panels. It looks to have a green drop shadow too. And not block numerals. Dounner am I right?? Also I have no evidence for this but I'm assuming th helmet will be the same finish as tcu.

Is that the w...i...d...e stripe pattern from the Georgia Pro Combat helmet last year?

If so, very bad.

It's a plethora of of small "winglike shapes" spread out forming a pattern on the helmet. It's why I never called them feathers, but a design element.

I think that the light area on the shoulder might be the wing design. If you look around his back you can see that the jersey is navy.

Yeah I just noticed that but the chest area looks like a white or grey so I'm all kinds of confused now :/

What's that white patchy thing on the shoulder? It almost looks like a sponsorship patch (I know it isn't).

I bet that's the wing design, going from the front to the back

I'm not really sure about that "pattern" down the middle either, could do without it imo. The white/gray area looks like an accent pattern around the armpits. Already I wish Nike would have gone back and modernized the Steve Largent era uniforms. The Broncos are going back to the era with theirs , minus the helmet, why not in Seattle. I'm not from the Seattle area so I'm not in touch with the identity of the city but do people like the bold colors on the grey/blue?? I know the colors mimic the area, water mountains weather. The Sounders use a similar color scheme and the Mariners use more of a teal than neon green. I just feel the Seahawks push the radical look.

According to the article on seahawks.com, the uniforms are "new age" and its "not going to be traditional or something that everyone is used to seeing". He also mentions the Oregon Ducks several times.

This is going to be interesting.

I think that is exactly what the tradionalists on here were fearing!!

Never mind I thought the numbers were part of the jersey and that the navy part was the numbers. Now I see that they're white numbers with what looks like green beveling on the edge..?

They aren't close to the whackiness that is the Ducks. I am not sure why they are making that comparison.

I've heard that the design along the middle of the helmet isn't loud and blends in quite well.

It's wide in the front and tapers into the back of the adjoining Seahawks logos on either side. It looks great in my opinion.

No, but when you reference Oregon the first thing that pops in my head is radical. When I think of the NFL I think of teams that have that "traditional" look. The Bears, Packers, Redskins, Cowboys, Vikings, 49ers, Browns, Steelers, Dolphins, Colts, Chiefs, and Raiders have gone virtually unchanged throughout the decades. The Bills, Jets, Giants, and Chargers have all gone through changes and have gone back to the "traditional" look. I feel like watching the Bears play the Seahwaks will be like watching the Bears play a bunch of clowns. I don't want to be too critical on their new look, because we haven't really seen much yet, I just don't have a good feeling about it.
